When we concede corners why don't we leave at least one player, Dolan, on the half way line?

It was easier for JRC to tap in at the back post

He was pretty much an ever-present in JDTs first season. Played 50 games, top scorer and 1 goal in 3 games (in his supposed fall away season too)Perhaps he was but we had little other options. This team needs a striker but one that fits the system, he doesn't, neither did Hirst

Bloody hell, copied and pasted from a Sky link and never noticed, no wonder we won!

The one that wins.
I'd take Kaminski and Brereton but doubt the latter has the skills needed for JDT.

Our 2021 home fixture v Swansea which we won 2-1.
Which team do you think is the best and which one would you rather watch? It's the current one on both counts for me.

Daniel Ayala
Darragh Lenihan
Harry Pickering
Ryan Nyambe
John Buckley
Joe Rothwell
Lewis Travis
Tyrhys Dolan
Ben Brereton Díaz
Sam Gallagher
SUBSTITUTES
Jacob Davenport
Hayden Carter
Jake Garrett
Connor McBride
Tyler Magliore
Daniel Butterworth
Jordan Eastham

My post below got me thinking whatever happened to Derrick Williams?
Wiki says he joined LA Galaxy and is currently at DC United.

My FB page reminds me that 5 years ago we had Rodwell and Williams as centre backs. 😯
It's a far more optimistic outlook with Carter and Hyam.

very harsh mate. at this level, no matter how poor the owners are, the conditioning staff won't let a player get over weight, if he does he wouldnt be in the squad let alone come on for a game. they monitor this stuff really closely
You may well be right about that.
However he'd sat on his arse watching his team mates running their arses off, was thrown on for the last 5 minutes and couldn't be arsed to move his fat arse for the cause.
Zero Arte et Labore from him. He turned up out of condition on the first day and has missed the first 2/3 months of the season.
He's a feckin shambles!

Next ...... Hilton is it?

For the first half at least I thought they set up to stop us playing through them and did it successfully.

Some great reading on the Dingle boards, if you ever need cheering up 🤣

Far from our best performance but 3 points and a clean sheet will do.

With regard to the comments on Vale, I'm not opposing them but find criticism difficult after looking at Hirst at Ipswich.

Caraboa Cup
For rounds three to five, television money is upped to £125,000. For most executives at smaller clubs the dream draw is a potentially lucrative away tie at a Premier League club given both teams take home a 45% cut of the gate receipts, with the remaining 10% heading into the competition fund.

The only thing that concerned me yesterday was the amount of shots QPR had at our goal - 21. Now obviously QPR weren't very good and quite a few of those shots were no-hopers anyway, but we need to try and reduce the amount of shots teams have at our goal, as we've seen better teams have been punishing us for that.
I know what you mean but 14 of those shots landed in North Yorkshire
