  1. Venky are the company, there are no Venkys
  2. We keep slagging off the "Venkys" but it is the Rao family that have ruined the club. The Rovers manager was prevented from speaking at his regular Friday presser yesterday but has spoken today. Last summer the "project" that he had agreed with the owners changed completely. He had just missed the play offs on goal difference but was told there was no money for transfer fees or wages, the budget was considerably reduced. Under these circumstances he offered to resign and leave the club without any reimbursement. No, the owners wanted him to continue so he moved his family to the Ribble Valley and continued to work long hours. This current transfer window the budget was cut again and despite selling a 19 year old star player for £18m+ there was no money for transfer fees. The owners, the Rao family, are being investigated by the Indian government for fraud, perhaps even money laundering. They are not allowed to transfer money out of India without permission. The court case is ongoing. When the Rao family bought BRFC they didn't know a club could be relegated. They were allegedly conned by advisors. The Rao family are stupid, ignorant, dishonest and dishonourable people. They are an embarrassment to their family and country. Let's forget Venkys and go after the real culprits?
  3. I love the football that JDT has tried to play but he hasn't got the players, he's never been backed and never had a chance. However, he is the manager, he has no plan B and neither him or this squad could survive a relegation battle . Time to go
  4. A goal and an assist in his latest appearance.
  5. I think £15m for Wharton will be the same £15m we got for Phillips.
  6. We all know who the real culprits are but let's not lose sight of who is selecting Whalstad (sp?) and Moran every week.
  7. For the replay, during the 3 day working week, the company wouldn't let half a dozen of us go. A row ensued that resulted in shutting the factory and 100 of us walking down the Bolton road to Ewood.
  8. I can't get on to watch the game, not unusual. The club is rotten to the core.
