Now Trump may keep some aspects of Obamacare instead of totally dismantling it on his first day - will this increase the strain between him and congress (purportedly on his side)?

No. It was pretty much a given that he's keep the Obamacare terms of allowing parents to ensure kids until 25 and forbidding insurance companies from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions. He said as much during the campaign.
