Nelsen does a steady job and im not implying he is poor on the game, just dont understand why players like yobo,C davies,Mellberg etc have better stats and comparitive CA and PA, when ryan is head and shoulders above all of those. Bentley and Gamst stats are a joke there stats should as good if not better than the likes of Cahill,arteta at everton yet are knowhere as good. It kind of spoils the game for me if i have to go to the editor and start messing with things. Rovers players always seem very underated compared to there peers on footy manager/champ

The guy that does the Research for rovers is crap. Most of our players stats are way to low. For example I had a debate with him regarding the Admirals stats when the game first come out, I said they were too low and Ryan’s states should reflect that he was amongst the best 5/6 CB’s in the prem he said that Ryan’s stats shouldn’t be as high as Mellberg ( an example that I used ) because mellberg was better. This guy claims he is a season ticket holder he is more like a Burnley fan was hoping to see an improvement in MGP and Bentleys stats I particular but they are just average players on the game which in IRL they are not.

Casillas is show pony he makes spectacular saves when a simple catch could do plus he is awful on crosses , Pablo, Albelda, Morientes you seriously saying that Pablo is better than wood gate and Ferdinand, Albelda is better than Gerard or Lampard and Morientes better than Rooney or Owen. Because if that’s the case I don’t what sport ive been watching for nearly 20 years. The problem with England is not talent but tactics, fitness and coaching. Its obvious to me that you don’t watch much La liga because if did you wouldn’t even mention Salgado, Marchena, Raul as players fit for the Spanish XI. Its just another Aussie dig at England, however I admit that if we had your attitude and prep towards sport ive no doubt with the talents in this country we would of won many more major tournaments. As for Spain they have one less than England which takes some doing for a major footballing nation . And whilst we have many overrated players I.e Carrick. Lampard ,Defoe Swp etc Spain have more Raul been the most overrated player of his generation

You seriously overate Spain my friend, there results until they played us have been shocking. If we had a 100% starting XI with a Mourinho or Lippi in charge I would back us against most teams with the talent in our starting XI Out of there Starting XI ,I would have Xavi, Ramos and Villa over England’s best XI and that’s it although if Fabregas would of played he would walk into any international side

Not really, England when having a fully fit XI have a better side than Spain and with a different manager would beat Spain 9/10. Spain weren’t any better/worse than England apart from one good shot. Still one of the worse games I have had the misfortune of watching

I thought Apocalypto was Gibson’s greatest piece of work, excellent sets, costumes and great authenticity in the form of actors. It is thrilling edge of the seat stuff, pretty gruesome but not overly as some people have said. I also like the way Gibson has used Yucatan-Mayan as the language for the film it adds extra authenticity. However there are several key thoughts regarding the film, the film gives us little insight into the rich Mayan which spanned over a 1000 years and geographically was larger than the roman empire culture, apart from violence and sacrifice. You also cant help but feel the whole film is a metaphor for failing modern day society, to illustrate to us the excesses and failings of western society, there are many examples in the film about man taking more than the earth can give and mans greed etc . The film is also quite historically inaccurate regarding time-frame, as the Maya had given up there grand cities some 3 centuries before the conquistadors arrived ( no doubt there was some pro catholic subluminal message intertwined in the overall plot, due to Gibson’s forthright religious beliefs). However the film is excellent if you want entertainment, adrenaline and brilliantly portrays authentic native American people
