  1. One of the "joys"(?) of having children is that I can legitimately watch TOTP now and again; did anyone see the strangulation of "Comfortably Numb" this week?

It was total sh**e - who the bloody hell are the scissors sisters?

A great song ruined for future generations!  Couldn't believe me ears when I heard it on the radio the other day.  I was half listening thinking 'what's that rubbish' then I recognised the words.

Does it count as a cover version if all they have done is stolen the words?!  ???

  2. I will be going out on Monday to buy the new Lostprophets album 'Start Something'.  'Last Train Home' is an amazing song and 'Burn Burn' is great too.  Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
  3. Big fat Sam has a team that fights and battles all the time and never gives up. We have a bunch of shrinking violets who wilt under the slightest bit of pressure.

Totally correct.  Bolton have players that want to play and fight for their club.  They might not all be the greatest players in the world, but they know how to battle and they work very well together as a team.

  4. Nah, leagues crap. They just stay in lines, running forward, lookin like a herd of elephants or something. Union is miles better, its a proper game, not a formation

Nowt happens in union!  They just lie about on the floor for half the match.  The only English player who runs anywhere is Jason Robinson - ex league player!

Still, I'll be cheering on the boys - hoping we can finally beat the Aussies at something!

  5. Bugger, was trying not to post but can't let this go.......

So if people don't happen to agree with your point of view then they're not a "fan" Fair enough.

If you're going to be rude about it, I might as well be rude too and advise you to take your head out of the effing sand.

I hope that I am not a bandwagon jumper and that my views are consistent whether or not people necessarily agree with them.

My view is that I support Blackburn Rovers not Graeme Souness. Unqualified support for him can only last so long and if performances and  results don't improve over the next month (after Birmingham on December 6 personally ) I feel the club have little option but to try a different approach.

We CAN NOT afford to go down.

If that sad day did arrive, (and let's hope it never does as a result of the players starting to perform for him) it wouldn't be a case of "Never darken our doorstep again" more a case of "Thanks for everything you've done. - you're welcome back anytime."

You may not agree, but I'm not going to start accusing you of not being a fan if you don't, we just hold differing viewpoints on the best way forward.

    :withstupid:

    Good post Rev....totally agree.

  6. What an absolute disgrace on and off the pitch!  I think we need a lots of answers from the club as they have proved (as I'd suspected) that Rovers are incapeable of stageing a big game.

I dont want to go on about individual incidents I saw, but I would like to know why the guy in a Rangers shirt who ran onto the pitch was escorted INTO the Blackburn End by a steward?!

I do feel incredably sorry for the 800 Celtic fans with tickets who were unable to get into Ewood becuase of the club/police's innability to control the fans outside.

    ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ROVERS!!
