    JDT’s last 15 games = 14 points

    JE’s 15 games = 14 points

At the moment it would appear Johnson is keeping us up (behave!!)

Swapped one poorly performing manager for another.

It's plain to see that Eustace hasn't been able to organise and motivate this side. Huge contrast to other new managers in this league (QPR being an example).

That said, I wouldn't be bothered if none of this team were around next season, bar Sammie they have shown minimal determination to get us out of the position we're in. Eustace is only shooting himself in the foot by defending the dire performances.

Ipswich have a decent wage budget tbf, Brandon Williams was probably on a fair amount as well before he went AWOL. Not sure if they're still paying those wages or not.

Anyway, they're similar to us under Mowbray in that they have the ability to pay decent loan wages/fees, as we did for the likes of Elliot, Tosin, Reed, etc... but less to spend on actual transfer fees.

Where they differ from us is that they have owners who are ambitious and a manager who is a winner. Two things we can only dream of.

Waggot/GB quite happy to throw £15k a week at Fleck who arrived on crutches, left on crutches.

You can’t replace quality players with free transfers and loans from Premiership youth teams. If you do, the clubs heading for the lower leagues.

Zero transfer funding from the owners, you can’t replace Kaminsky and Diaz with a handful of magic beans.

The owners gave Broughton £1million and he spent it on Wahlstedt.

  4. We know he's working with a useless, spineless squad, but what's worrying is the endless positive rubbish he comes out with after performances like that.

He's been in football long enough to know it is going to annoy the fans.

He obviously doesn't care what the fans think of him.

We have been here before (Kean, Coyle), and it is worrying. He's a yes man to Waggott end of.

He's been put in as a shield to Waggott and will Inevitably start taking flack if/when things don't improve. One more layer between waggot/GB and the fans' anger.

Well I always like to give the manager time and a decent run of games before coming to a view. But I think its fair to say hes not got it.

We're not a brilliant team but we have the leagues top scorer and essentially the same set of players who finished seventh last year. If the first XI was disassembled I am pretty sure every player except Pears will get a contract at a mid table Championship club.

With the team he should have had two or three more wins by now on the board minimum. I really thought after Leeds he had shown something but a performance like that today is not acceptable.

JE isn't out on the pitch. The effort and individual performances have been pathetic.

Best thing he could do is come out and slate the players for this. Distance himself.

Stunning to see how we've assembled a squad of such losers. The mentality of these lot has been pathetic for far too long.

It costs nothing to have some professional pride, how can none of them have any?

This is the crux of it. The club has a culture of failure from the top down. No surprises that the losing mentality is firmly embedded in the squad. No-one at the club cares about their standard of work, because their bosses never hold them to account. Until venkys go, this will just carry on. The club deserve to be relegated because it is run with such little care, that's the sad thing about it.

  7. Decent questions from Andy, but he should have pushed on the Maguire error.

GB said that after 2023 issues they got the Directors and recruitment team in the same room for 2024.

So then HOW does such an error happen on the biggest transfer of the whole window? You'd have 3 or 4 people looking over the shoulder whilst the info was submitted.

Answer: it didn't happen. It is just a lie.

Anyone try to do a £3m+ corporate acquisition deal with 2 other 3rd parties will know there will be multiple lawyers, agents, banks etc crawling all over the execution with multiple controls at every step (they all want to get their %share of the deal!)

Personally I believe they were trying to offload Gallagher on the final day, and when that didn't go through they pulled the Maguire deal.

I've some sympathy with GB because he is powerless, and at least fronts up for interviews.

  8. The "human error" excuse is clearly a cover up.

Thing that shocked me was we had a permanent deal agreed for £2.5m for Maguire, Venkys mess around with the Wharton deal, tell Orlando it is off, then a week later we're paying £3.5m for Maguire (plus probably a loan fee)!

TBH I am sympathetic to whoever pulled the deal. Especially in hindsight Eustace might not want to sign him anyway.

Wharton promoted to the under 21s

Tyler Morton (yes him) actually started in CM last week for the u21s. A.Wharton wasn't even in the squad originally, get your head around that!

The England setup is far too biased to big clubs. There's no way Morton would be anywhere near the squad if he was a permanent Hull player, rather than on loan from Liverpool.

  10. GB has been in charge for the last 3 windows, which have all been disasters. There's only so much blame shifting he can do as DOF the responsibility lies with him.

I'm more convinced than ever that the Maguire transfer was pulled deliberately by suhail/Waggot. The interview didn't press GB on why extra controls weren't put in place after last year.

No mention of the crazy decision to loan out Travis.

No mention of why sign injury prone  Fleck.

No mention of why we (still) haven't signed a striker.

No scrutiny over previous windows - Walhsted/teleovic

    Nothing on Dolan contract.

Who are the 10 out injured? Is it really that many? Perhaps because in part those who are missing aren't that good either.

Fleck- that injury was always going to happen. Was never going to play any meaningful part of our season.

Pears - not a championship standard keeper. (His replacement is another issue mind.)

Hedges - charitably called busy. Looks great 1 in 7, poor in the rest.

Leonard- potential admittedly but still only played a dozen or so games. Are we that desperate for an untested striker?

Tronstadt and JRC the only big losses as far as I'm aware, of a good championship standard. And being honest JRC is both a huge loss but injury prone and likely to miss chunks of the season.

Can't see how anyone can say the squad isn't poor!

    Carter is also injured.

The squad is poor compared to the top 6/8, but has more quality than most of the teams at the bottom, if motivated and organised properly.
