  1. I'm in the admittedly small minority that thought Dark Knight Rises was Just unimaginative(its just all the same set pieces and ideas from the 1st 2 films just on bigger budget), stupid(even far a superhero film, so many giant plot holes), totally predictable and for the most part Ridiculous & Booooring.

    p.s.

i did like the 1st 2 very much because they both brought something new and fresh to the genre, Rises is just a cash in on the success of the dark knight i believe, i don't believe for 1 second Nolan had originally intended to make a trilogy(and i also got the feeling that if heath ledger hadnt died then the 3rd film would have had the joker again and not Bloody little Fatty silly voice Bane).

  2. good, honest pro, could be our new savage

More of a Mokoena from what ive seen(not necessarily a bad thing), goes without saying 4 year deal for a 30 year old being paid most likely higher than hes worth wages is again just dum(or plane careless!), says to me they arnt planning on sticking around that long, they want a quick promotion and another years prem tv money to at leastcover any losses, then Sayonara!

  3. The animals i feel guilty about eating are the ones that have some intelligence, mainly pigs they can be almost as clever as dogs and have a lot of personality, animals like cows(in particular) are completely oblivious of everything and have the intelligence of a goldfish, they only exist at all because we breed them for food if left to their own devises they'd be extinct in no time through pure stupidity.

At least in this country most people are aware of animal welfare and are always looking for ways to do things more humanely, as apposed to those disgusting beings in the far east that will kill any animal(wild or domesticated) not just for food but for pathetic (Non-existent) health benefits and superstitious reasons.

  4. British rose veal is just as humane as any other british meat(beef, pork, chicken, lamb) do to our relatively strict animal rights in this country, Would you rather the bull was killed at birth or sent abroad to be raised and slaughtered in another country that as virtually no animal rights- http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/news/eat-british-veal-with-a-clear-conscience-says-rspca-899778.html and http://www.channel4.com/programmes/jimmy-and-the-giant-supermarket/articles/why-buy-ros-veal

  5. I dont mind cruise ..but when a charaecter is 6 ft nearly 7ft and his height intimidates and is one of the most important trait of him ,cruise aint the man.

i have no knowledge of the books at all so that doesnt really bother me, I understand totally how things like that really bother fans of the source material though( im guessing cruises production company own the movie rights to the books so obviously hes picked himself for the lead role).

  6. Have you watched the other Danish/Swedish one - Broen? I liked it, it was about a joint investigation between Danish and Swedish detectives after a body was found on the Oresund Bridge directly on the border line.

I'm a fan of Borgen and The Killing too. I guessed (more luck than judgement) the killer in series 1 in the third episode, but in series 2 it only dawned on me right before the end!

I really liked The Bridge, lead actress/character was great and sexy as hell.

  7. It seems that Tom Cruise will be playing him. What a terrible choice IMO - if anyone's read the books you will know that Jack Reacher is approx 6ft5ins in height - not 5ft7ins. It's already put me off watching it.

Cruise is usually pretty great, but like Mad Mel Gibson his personal life has really started to overshadow his acting, getting hard to take him serious.

  8. The 1st season of The Borgias was pretty good(havnt watched the 2nd yet) and Treme is supposed to be pretty great(made by the guys that made the wire), havnt got around to watching it yet though(its been sittin on my hd for 2 years).

O cant believe i forgot The killing(us) once it gets going its brill(prob my favorite newish show) and the final episode of season 2 was amazing(some of the best acting ive seen in a tv show).

  9. Some of the series that I have watched and still watch over the years.

    X Files

    Sopranos

    Deadwood

    Dexter

    Breaking Bad

    Friday Night Lights

    Entourage

    Modern Family

    Boardwalk Empire

    Band Of Brothers

    Californication

    Curb Your Enthusiasm

    East Bound and Down

    Treme

    The Wire

    The Walking Dead

    Southland

    The West Wing

    ER

    Life

    Game Of Thrones

    The Pacific

How To Make It In America

    Mad Men

    Angels In America

I never got round to watching the likes of House, Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy, The Shield or Fringe which people have assured me are all excellent.

Some great shows their, cant believe you missed 24 off though, the 1st few seasons where Great (not exactly MadMen or the wire but great Action/thriller entertainment).

Personally just for shear fun and entertainment value im a big Supernatural fan, the 1st couple of seasons can be a choir to get through but once the 3rd season starts and the big overall plot kicks in it really is Epic, great charecters, great twists on mythology and religion really delivers.
