  1. Is Scottish a race? I consider them the same race as me.

So you consider yourself a "sweaty sock?"

You've proven nothing in this thread other than your lack of knowledge about tennis and your casual xenophobia towards Scots.

    As I thought,

    Bullstien

If you read the original Brexit thread and didn't see what I'm referring to, then go back and read it. It's all there in black and white. It might take a wee while, and certainly more than I'd be willing to waste on the likes of yourself mate. This messageboard in recent years has become unbearable due to the likes of you and Abbey, and judging by a lot of your comments in the more political threads on here, so has the country.

  2. I must have missed those, can you cut and paste ?

With all due respect (which is very little), I won't be scrolling through 152 pages just to find a couple of quotes to appease you.

The parents can't be short of a bob or two to employ a tennis coach for two sons. It's a really boring game with the server having a huge advantage all the time.

None of Federer, Nadal, Murray or Djokovic are considered "big servers."

Just how little do you know about this sport you've spent half your day pontificating about on here?

  3. Then why did you quote it?

I'm not going to research it but it appears that all the tennis pros are rich kids with paid coaches.

"I'm not going to research it but..."

Yeah, why would you ever need knowledge to form an opinion? Carry on being ignorant. Funnily enough, a couple of those who spend time on the Brexit thread suggesting they aren't racist have thrown out a casually xenophobic insult against a Scottish bloke.

    "I'm not racist, but..."

  4. So Andy Murray now number 1 ranked player in the world after beating Djokovic in the ATP final.

My question is, is Djokovic on the slide or just having a bad spell? Or is Murray now the best tennis player on the planet?

I hate tennis. Wimbledon fortnight is a good time to book a holiday abroad. They say that golf is a sport for the rich but tennis is more so with the personal coaches etc. for anyone who wants to succeed. Also Murray IS an English hating sweaty turd.

Not quite sure how your answer really addresses the question Al? If you don't like tennis, why on earth did you click on "the tennis thread?"

Not one single person here, or possibly in the entire world, could care less whether or not you like tennis.

It would be interesting to see whether there is any actual evidence to support your gut feeling there Al.

There isn't. Djokovic himself is from a working class family, and his parents ran a small fast food parlour in Belgrade.

Despite having an apparent hatred for tennis, Al seems to want to paint the picture that he has a great knowledge of what is required to become a professional tennis player.

    Funny that...

  5. Maybe it's just that Novak has peaked and now flattened out a bit whilst Murray has just reached his peak. As with most individual sports a lot of it is down to timing. Plus the psychological edge is now with Murray after beating him a few times he's now finally got Djokovic's number

I think Novak admitted that he lost a little motivation after he won in Paris, thus completing a career slam. I still expect he's got another three or four slams in him, and should finish his career as second in the all time rankings behind Federer. Whether or not he'll be remembered as the second best player of all time is another argument entirely...

  6. English hating sweatie turd.

Murray is arguably the greatest British Sportsman of all time.

You on the other hand continue to show yourself to be the thickest member of a internet forum, who deserves zero respect whatsoever.

You even misspelt "sweaty" for heaven's sake.

Congrats to Murray, an absolute warrior of an athlete and will deservedly go down in history as an all time great of the sport.

  7. I don't like the England cricket team, is it really that hard to get your head around? I don't hate England, I just hate their cricket team. I'm fine with the national football team, in fact I'm planning my trip to the next world cup. I hate the arrogance, the cheating, the hypocrisy and the attitude. That is why I don't support them.

You've just the best three reasons to support them. I had no time for Stuart "P-p-poker face p-p-poker face" Broad before this tournament, but now he's got a special place in my heart along with Beefy and Steve Grievance Bodily Harmison.

  8. Question? Has anybody ever had 'side view' seats at the MEN? if so, are they good or bad?

Just got tickets for Muse at MEN in block 101 upper level. I checked a seating plan of the arena & the seats are almost behind the front of the stage. When tickets arrived they said "SIDE VIEW!!!!" printed on them.

Not sure if this is good or bad??....at £55 a pop i`m hoping they`ll be pretty decent

I don't like them, but then I think most of the Seated Tickets (especially Upper Tier) at the MEN are awful.
