  1. Mates, mates, don't worry.

Ofcourse, the Feyenoord-fans have some scum amongst them, but every firm does have. Few years back (last year?) they've been warned by the UEFA after the firework-incident vs. Lissabon, they're watched sharply, believe me. Dutch fans can only get tickets if they have a club-card, and the latest expectation is that there will be around 25.000/30.000 people. Last home match, vs. Sofia, the Feyenoord-fans were absolutely splendid. They sung throughout the whole match (which was extremely dissapointing, 0-0) and just were fantastic. There are TIFO (banners, flags, fireworks) planned for this thursday, so it will be a very good atmosphere. Besides that, you guys go into the stadium using the railway-station, which will be protected by loads of police, so don't worry. After the match, just calmly leave Rotterdam and nothing will happen. If you don't search, you won't find trouble. 2500 english, 25000 dutch - why can't that be the guarantee for a fantastic night? Respect from both sides (of fans), that's what it is about. And I don't think Rotterdam will see this as a Holland vs. England clash, they know Blackburn don't have a hooligan reputation at all.

enjoy the fantastic atmosphere at one of worlds greatest football-temples!

they seemed up for it last night when i was invited into a large group convo of them, by a rovers fan that had been harrassed by them

they were clearly saying do not walk around the centre or your dead, not to worry anyone

they only seemed like young kids

  2. flying from birmingham thurs morning, gutted now

that i didnt get a wed flight, well looking forward to this un,

does anyone know where i can get a flag printed up

in the accy/blackburn area, rang a few places but there

    machine's wont take a 9ft x 6ft flag.

if you already have the flag, then i would be able to do it, similar to the one in my picture below

  3. It is remembering the soldiers who died in both wars, but its not just the soldiers who 'kept the nazi's from taking over'.

Rememberence Day is to mark the signing of the Armistice on the 11th of November 1918 at the end of the 1st World War - Need i point out the Nazi's didnt even exist back then??

It was originally named Armistice day but renamed Rememberence Day for ALL the soldiers who have died during wars...

    :rover:

in which case im not wrong, as the rememberence is for soldiers of both wars, the second of which did what i said

i think the result was fair

i dont think we had ashot on target according tosunday papers, but we did have chances

  4. When you have following of drunk idiots is when you get trouble. It's not unavoidable. Just drink less and grow up.

its rememberance day, in memory of the people who stopped the nazi`s taking over

    no excuse at all

anyway, considering our squad i thought we played very well, and could have easily walked away with a point, man utd didnt impress me

  5. Which is interesting as I am a non ST holder and have been to no previous away Euro games and they have cashed my cheque. In fact it cleared today which means they must have banked it Friday or Monday. I better get a ticket now!

ill have to check with my bank to see if its gone through

im not worrying, just seems weird they have set deadlines but ignoring them
