From what I've seen from the American guy, he couldn't control a balloon without it bouncing 5 yards off his foot.

had a wry smile at him missing that one on one.

Problem if the manager goes, could these players adapt to playing a different way?

5 centre backs wouldn't be enough

it's enough to make you weep. Did he really think that? it can't have been a ploy to get him sold as his value would depreciate with no games surely.

Said at half time, it's like an FA cup game and we've been drawn at home against a Premier league team.
Good effort today, some good football but if you don't shoot you don't score. It's time for Markanday to get a run in place of Brittain in my opinion,he offers little if anything going forward.
As someone said earlier, 2 points off the play offs at this stage, considering the circumstances is a cracking effort.
If Markanday had pace I might agree but I saw Spence stood next to him near the end of the game and it looked like an U15 match where one lad has grown up quicker than the other. Or like boxers in different weight divisions in the same ring.

Agreed, looks like he had a double KFC meal on his way to the ground.. he looked very bloated indeed
Don't think there's much option but to get him match fit by playing him. He'd surely offer more presence. He's not going to get up to speed playing reserves football, in the gym or by playing 10 minutes at the end of lost cause matches. if he's a dud then let's at least find out that he is.
Leonard looked a peripheral figure against those big defenders and in an ideal world goes on loan, though that can't happen clearly given the numbers.

When is Pears back?
I wonder what the stats show, but I'm not convinced there's much difference between them really. Very much a problem position as Chris Sutton said at Norwuch.

We've just run out of first team players. Simple as that.

Derby games are battles and made for teams with warriors. We don't have many of those so we often get bullied and end up losing.
Looking on the bright side, there's only 1 more derby this season. So there's that.

Good question. Our marquee summer striker signing and it’s November and he’s hardly been seen. What a waste of time
Marquee signing? Pop-up tent from Aldi's middle aisle signing more like.

Norwich really were shite. What are they doing with all the parachute money? Good 3 points, well seen out after the red. Hope JRC isn’t out long
Anybody think of another club who spaffed their parachute money down the drain?🤔

He looks knackered, did in our last match too, perhaps needs a rest?
anybody else think Hill (who is classy) looked out on his feet for the last 20 or so?
Maybe due to greater exertion needed at FB than CB? Especially 3 games in a week there I suppose.

Well perhaps Proctor needs sacking as his judgement seems awry! Seems he was never going to be ready for the season's start - farcical.

He's a very good coach and he'd do very well with a team who can afford better attacking players. He's not the right fit for us this season given the squad we have. We need to be scrappy, hard to beat, and not give too much away. TM tried the possession based style of football and
