Why are they wasting money on mascot's wages tonight? Surely another saving to be made there.

Yeah... haven't watched this game yet - will watch tomorrow. But I was at Ewood for Sunderland mid week and Travis was playing as an offensive box to box midfielder pushed right up the right side. Wharton totally on his own in the middle of the pitch.
In games we are confident we are the better side I can see being so aggressive amd confident making sense. But in a close matchup it just seems hubristic.
hubristic. that level of vocabulary shows the intellectual nature of this message board. Bravo.

interesting how people see things differently. i thought JRC strengthened a tiring midfield and made a lot of tackles. he looked good at a point where we were really struggling.

How many times has he lost the ball???
yes he looks great on the ball at times but we have been caught out in possession a number of times via him.
You need a risk taker like him in the team in order to be progressive. Like Tugay was.

I spared so much thought I ghoulishly went to their fans forum in a bitter final act of pointless schadenfreude.

My last memory of the season is going to be Keith Andrews and his glued on hair.

Of course the big difference between Mowbray here and at Sunderland is that he hasn't recruited any of their team.
...and JDT was prevented from recruiting.lol.

I'm fairly neutral on ToMo but his season there suggests the issue is with the running of this club rather than the managers we have.
An obvious and frequently made argument I will admit.
Sigh.

Szmodics performance in this game mirrors the club's all season.

all that's left is to enjoy Millwalls torment or Sunderlands. I'm THAT small minded.
