Oh fuck off referee. The ball was in play for about 90 seconds of that 5 mins added time. Spends his entire time pointing at his watch and blows on 5 minutes. Absolute twat. Its no wonder so many games are such a shit watch when the referees are such spineless fuckheads.
I love the articulate expression of your sheer exasperation. Marvellous. Cheered me up that.

Fuck off Gallagher, stunk the place out as usual then loses the ball for the 3rd. But hey, we allegedly win more points with him in the side than not so it's all OK.
Normal service has been resumed. As we seem to be able to rise to the occasion in the Cups however I'll settle for an FA Cup win.
Good luck with that Simon.

it's just sad. we live near Colne. I've a lad at 13 who is keen. I bring him and his united and Liverpool (and Burnley!) supporting mates to most home games. the momentum builds. I'm converting them...then this. Groan.

It's just sad really. Like when he pocked what we thought was the best team because they'd won the last game.
He'll have to change it and then the changes might win the next one.
And then they'll lose. Repeat. Disappoint. Repeat.

Bellamy is assistant to Kompany at Burnley sadly.
But agreed he was fantastic.

I'm very sorry to only learn about this just now and miss the funeral.
A fantastic and inspirational politics teacher, but also funny, sympathetic and supportive. More than that simply a very decent, kind man.

It's the injuries I fear.
Big worries all over the pitch.

Why 6 minutes? Honestly asking
3 injury stoppages. Time wasting. multiple subs. It'd be 10 in the World Cup

This has cheered me up. the football was probably as crap but it felt more "honest" if you know what I mean.

But for all that I wish him well for all our sakes and (tin hat on) he seems a pleasant fellow.

Good player but too lightweight and goes hiding far too often just like today but that can be a problem with loaness.
Oh how we could have done with Van Hecke today his attitude was the exception to the rule.
Yeah and he can't get a kick at Brighton. Sigh.

“It’s been a disappointing afternoon and we’re disappointed with our performance because it didn’t reflect the way we’ve been playing for a while," he reflected...
Hmm...carbon copy of several away performances though surely.

Believe it or not, there is at least one Rovers fan who is looking at the league table with us in third place, the Carabao Cup draw for the fourth round with us in it, who is not in the least bit "angry".
Well I admire your positive outlook. And I mean that sincerely.

This was just another to add to the scrapbook of abject, clueless, away defeats at Reading, Sheff Utd, Luton, Cardiff and Coventry. Keep doing the same thing - playing out from the 6 yard box - with the same dismal results. And it seems to be more important to "add value" to players than actually be competitive and win points.
Modern football eh? I'm not quite seeing how much value is added by losing 3-0 in that manner.
What's he said afterwards?

Cheer up we get to play uppity Preston next.
Tradition maintained of being abject before a (long) international break.
-
It's as if in order to get a win he has to rotate players every single match. The result then is almost as many defeats as wins.
Shows squad isn't deep enough/good enough.
