  1. Its nice reading LET tonight, Burnley grasping onto the only hope they have of 'we are closing the gap' Utter dross, we were awful, if we were actually playing well the 'gap' would be still as big. Oh well they can remember their 5 minutes they got to jump around like lunatics for many years to come No Nay Never indeed
  2. Escorted primarily because you lot werent far up the road I dont condone violence, but I know a hell of a lot of people on both sides of the teams who do
  3. Really? It was 28,691 against Burnley, yet it was 29,271 for when Newcastle came down to Ewood on Boxing Day. So it wasn't the biggest crowd of the season for when you came. erm....you sold out against Burnley (so you say)....but not against the Geordies..... Thanks for the hospitality Blackburn....a good days drinking in relaxed surroundings..... a free run around town.... Oh, congratulations on the result, its been an entertaining couple of weeks....... all the best in the next round Free run around town? care to tell me when this happened? As I have actual facts from people in the town. A good amount of Rovers fans were locked in the Sun pub by police. Burnley were escorted through the town (about 300) and then when they let Rovers out the pub they followed a good 500 yards behind. All this talk of you 'run our town' is typical bullsh!t hmmm touched a nerve did I....? I don't really care too much for this anymore....but just for you. Burnley were drinking in Blackburn and darwen from 2.00pm. various groups in various sizes. Light refreshment was enjoyed in Toll Bar, Beeches, a small group drank in the jubilee etc etc (some places did lock their doors when approached)..... 100 in the Depot, 50 in Darwen..... the Postal Order was off limits as this was HQ for those Naughty Blackburn chaps. They were surounded in their own town by plod After the game....2 to 300 Burnley were put in an escort to go to the station....but 40 or so evaded capture and walked unhindered right into town, without any police. They actually bumped into 30 chaps, and as the two groups shaped up to trade harsh words....they recognised each other as all being from Burnley. They then strolled on to the Boulevard together....and not a soul was on the steets. Some chaps in the escort further back did say that 20 Wovers "hardcases" did appear on the way to the station....but their show of bravado was quickly extinguished by the biggest firm on the night....Lancashire Constabulary Gotta say, I think Blackburn's one of the friendliest places I have been to..... Same happened with Rovers fans. Just didnt want any ficticious stories flying around, you know, the type burnley fans are known for. A good group of Rovers fans were locked in pubs, and also escorted to the ground. Oh well its over, were all safe from the SS i guess, I did doubt it and took a spare set of underwear just in case. Also, were your 'boys' wearing gloves?
  4. Heard it at the turd. Despicable, but what can one expect? Let them have their fun, as sad as they are.

  6. Apparantly so. Why are my parents such an embarrassment? Jesus H, your only 21?!
  7. Thats stating the obvious isn't it ? Of course they are all B*******, as you cant marry your sister. Do you have to try really hard to come up with them or is it just natural wit? Either way if you're planning to make a career of humour you should probably take the waist in on your trousers - you're going to be very very hungry you seen size of ste? hungry he certainly wont suffer from!
  8. Where the French Connection UK is the waters edge?
  9. id like to see them try and keep 22,000 home fans in
  10. Im on row 3 and will certainly let my presence be felt come on lads lets get the Blackburn End rocking!
  11. Why ?? A lot of people in the Blackburn End have paid to SIT DOWN, and they have as much right to watch the game as anybody else. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just plainly inconsiderate. There is that Ste, but I get where hes coming from. And god forbid if i have a morbid fan next to me like last time we played Burnley at Ewood....
  12. They're all t!ts of the premium quality if you ask me. I love winding them up
  13. There never is 31,000 on. Because of segregation/stewards/coppers etc I certainly cant think of a gate with this, one of highest was vs LPL in Cup when Rush got a hat-trick in 94 that I recall
  14. they will stand dont see why we cant! and if they throw someone out..... sparks will fly!
  15. The WatersEdge on Albion Street, part of the mill complex. Big pub, open at 5.00pm with food usually available too. I will be there from five past! Where you talkin as in how far from Ewood mate, im struggling to think where you mean!

  18. No not THAT game Speaking of bank top, had an old g/f from there and one time walking back from town over Bank Top got asked for a light and then offered 'services' ewwwwwwww
  19. On the nose for me I think he might bring Shorty back in, Mokoena still isnt doing much for me and I think the sight of Short will reassure the 'older' Rovers players. Stead to start if Dickov fails fitness test God hope we come out all guns-a-blazing
  20. Oh they sting you on the drinks big time, I get lost in Hell room tho, much better. I agree, ive been most of local towns and none stand out, prefer local really
  21. If Tugay is made captain I fear my stomach will turn over and over
  22. Im on the game thats all im bothered about! Roll on tomorrow!
  23. Its utterly pants mate, only been about 3 or 4 times, only so many times can make the same building appear 'different'. Not opening as JJ, but something different. Apparently Lava/Ignite owners are sniffing, that would be excellent, as the one in Burnley is a good night out
  24. Its good Radaghast a change from the usual Heaven and Hell etc
  25. Cool, would have been nice to meet you. Is it a good view? I used to have row 29 seat 28 and that was. At least can saviour the BBE atmosphere
