  1. I`ve posted some more Muse at Wembley vids on my youtube (Cletus1875) feel free to check them out.

BTW.....i thought Biffy Clyro were excellent too, so good i downloaded the latest album....which sounds good too :tu:

    Will do

Yeah i've done the same thing, their album sounds good so far.

Nice one - noticed you added me on myspace, did you check out the video I have from Wembley on there - dont know who did it but the quality is brilliant.

Its pretty much all but confirmed to be a DVD

I did and i have done, it's a great muse megamix, i take it thats from the saturday as there don't seem to be any cameras.

Good, i can't wait to get the DVD. Hopefully i'll be easy to spot as the camera was basically always stopping over out section and i'm near the front. Plus i want to have a muse night with the surroundsound on and try to get 1/10th of the effect they did.

  2. We were sat just behind the halfway line on the 1st tier.

(I`ve got about 8 or 9 videos altogether & will be uploading them all eventually)

BTW....Wembley Stadium is a fabulous building, but not worth £900m (in my view)...considering the millenium stadium cost a tenth of that to build.

    Great video!

Nice view, i was about 3 from the front of the normal section, might have to try and get in the front little VIP section if i see them again.

I thought the stadium was great, just very expensive.

You mean you've never been to see Oasis live?

I imagine they are good and some of my mates have been but the entire muse setup is just amazing and they have everything in place for an amazing performance. Not to mention the graphics on the massive video screen, which are just mind boggling.

Dan: i think i only have 2 vids, i'll drop a link in when i put them up. Best one is the intro and Knights of Cydonia.

  3. Saw Muse play at the new Wembley stadium last night. Mind-blowing experience and by far one of the best gigs I've ever been to. The venue itself takes a bit of acclimatising to - we spent a good half an hour just looking round thinking "my god this is the new Wembley". Very exciting stuff.

I went last night and also managed to see fantastic sets from Biffy Clyro & My Chemical Romance, with a DJ set from Zane Lowe. I have to say Zane Lowe is a DJ god.

As for Muse i am just lost for words to describe how good the show was. You get the sense that every second of the show has been planned and practised and it just is perfect. I doubt any gig will ever surpass that and i can't wait for the DVD to be out.

  4. Mario strikers has just been dispatched. Should have it in a few days, can't wait! However still no news on the cheap nunchuck that hmv have £15, rather than £18 and with free delivery.

I think i have broken the tennis game, my ranking is now 1993, but baseball annoys the hell out of me.

Eddie, i had all of my fitness tests yesterday as the 3 boxing ones. Properly bad on the old fitness and the wii age.

  5. No offence to Bentley but he will have been trained by his agent/representative when he phoned talksport, Nothing Footballers say anymore is genuine.

I doubt Bentley needs any coaching on what to say, nor would i think he has had any. From talks with people on this board and what both hughes and pearce have said it was obvious that he is tired and shouldn't have been selected. He should never have been put in the position he was in.

Does anyone know exactly how many games David Bentley has played this season?

51 for rovers i believe. According to the rovers site, we played 53 and he missed 2 through suspension. Not to mention his england games.

  6. Im sure we all heard the reports that Hughes has been released from his sentence about 3 years early and is being signed by Oldham Athletic. Personally I think its shocking that a man can cause another mans death, and cause immense suffering to the guys family, only to be let out within 3 years and go on to recieve more fat weekly pay packets!

    Shame on Oldham.

Serving half your sentence is common practice, if you have reformed and he has been quiet whilst inside.

People who cause deaths can't be locked away forever or rejected by society simply because of 1 mistake and by all accounts thats what it was. Everybody deserves a second chance, even footballers!

As for oldham, what have you got against them? It makes good business for them to get an ultra fit and bulker up player to help them on what will be a reduced wage. If you couldn't employ crooks then Barton would be for it.

  7. You get boxing tasks in the wii fitness? That has never happened to me. I find that the average can drop really easily but it is hard to bring up. I got a 20 and it only took my average (that was at 28) up by 1, but the following day I managed to drop to 35.

God yeah. I had 2 in 1 day (out of 3) killed me totally. I went from 21 down to 38. I guess my average is around 25-27, but i have missed 1 day.

Currently waiting on mario soccer from hmv. I am starting to get bored with wii sports and i am playing wii play alot more to improve my controller skills. I still need another nunchuck though £15!

Eddiewac, i have added you but i can't send a message to you for some reason.

    Whats your wii number eddie?

  8. I was getting at the fact that he was using 'fatigue' as a reason why he stepped down from the U21s, when many of us have 'fatigue' 365 days a year, without a summer to relax and recover. It annoys me that highly paid footballers don't expect to work like slaves and do stupid amounts of hours in order to receive their ridiculously high salaries.

If your looking at the big picture though, he has played an entire season, he then plays in this U21s tourament and gets 1 week rest before the new season. Then plays another whole season and could very well get a call up to the full squad for the Euros. This could then mean he hasn't had a proper break for 2 full years and that can't be good for anybody, regardless of how much they get paid.

I can't see this being a massive negative for Bentley England wise, he and Mark Hughes told McClaren and Pearce not to select him but he did, it's his own fault he has 22 players not 23. Even if he doesn't play under McClaren it shouldn't be too long before we have a new boss anyway.

  9. Awwwww these players are really hard-done by aren't they?

I doubt Bentley does 65 hours a week, and not earning in a year what many footballers do in a week.

England don't pay him though, we do.

I'd rather he had a break and came back fresh, especially after a season where most weeks the team played 2 games. It's hardly relaxing being a top class footballer you have to put alot of work in everyday. I imagine it's like school all over again, work hard all year then you get a nice long holiday but then you have to work hard all over again to keep up last years standards or your in trouble.

  10. ARHHHHH! Why select an inform player then drop him for the retards that are Dyer and Jenas? Dyer at best is a AM and a very bad one at that. Then to bring the brilliant beckham off for carrick was just pathetic. He will only play players who have england caps and have the special stonecutters ring! (simpsons reference). It's just wrong, well done to nicky shorey on a great debut in teh face of being dropped for a player who doesn't get in the chelsea starting line up on wednesday.

    McClaren out, Bentley In!!!!

  11. Utterly bizarre. Surely Nolan deserves the spot on the bench more than him. Or Barry.

I think Jenas must have something over the FA to keep getting a call up. He was ok for the B team but nothing special.

Nolan should be given a go but doesn't get a look in and Barryis a good player but i'm not sure he has what it takes to be a full international player.
