What would it gain? I don't think the club would respond very well and I don't thing it would enact any change? Steve Waggott for example may annoy some but he's probably well aware of how the fans feel without Jaquob Crooke needing to point it out to him. I'm sure he receives a lot of emails and messages directly from those who are discontent

    What would it gain?

Last time they were called out it was the end of...

Hunt, Kean, Agnew, Singh, Shaw, Anderson all played out via media with constant pressure from the supporter groups. They were hit that many times with a left, they were begging for a right.

Is there a solid argument that we are stronger in any position other than left back?

    Keepers - same

Right back - lost back up in Bennett, otherwise same, Nyambe near end of contract but Pike and Carter showing promise

Central Defence - lost THB and (thankfully) Branthwaite, brought in the Dutch lad. Carter and Wharton seem to be a future pairing but Ayala staying fit (big if) is crucial - Lenihan nearing end of contract

Left Back - Bell and Douglas gone, neither a big loss, Pickering looks ok and new lad could be a good un - progress

Central midfield - lost a playmaker in Holtby and backup options in Evans and Trybull (neither a huge loss) brought in Clarkson who seems to occupy similar positions to Buckley

Wing forwards - brought in Poveda and Kedra, could be good but big ask to replace Elliotts contributions

Strikers - lost a 29 goal man, not replaced at all

It seems we are now reliant on a number of attacking players chipping in with goals but the concern is we’ve lost 40 or so goals from last season and brought in players with less than a handful of career goals (maybe even games) between them

I'd say on the face of it the squad much weaker.

Last season we had a 28 goal striker, loans which were exceptional in harwood-bellis and Elliott (both come with big reputations and expectations) both delivered with interest.

I think our summer dealings has us at least 5 places lower come the end of the season, if not more if we cannot plug the goals we've lost.

We have started the season well, but have done so the last couple of seasons. February onwards we press the self distruct button. I'm not sure this time we will get enough points on the board come january to prevent us being dragged into the relegation fight.

Guarantee there'll be a story in the telegraph tomorrow about how we tried for someone really decent we'd all have welcomed, say Maja or someone along them lines.

To be honest watched roverschat for 10 minutes and it became obvious no one had any transfer news or scoops , or a clue who we was or was not after. They were just doing the twitter rumours.

Its that poor at present, even the local press have zero inside info. We all knock Nixon, but he has broke far more than the local rag

  4. Can't believe my kids have given up the TV tonight, so I can watch sky sports news.

Asking them to part with the TV is like taking them to the sweet shop and buying them no sweets, (no easy task).

Its demoralising watching players and the fees involved moving clubs, then there is us.

I know we've had more windows like this than good ones, but this time around its just so underwhelming, especially after over 12 months of football without fans.

Ewood needs another 5 years without owners now, because its been pitiful

Am I being OTT by suggesting how this situation has played out requires a statement by the owners and recruitment team?

Wasted the budget on new head recruitment guy, he is planning his summer holidays on his nice wage.

To be honest, i'd rather they say foooook all, the window we've had is tbe biggest statement of the lot "we are shit and on the downward spiral"

People looking at his record and moaning. But he's been playing Premier League & La Liga football. He's got individuality. Strong, pacey, would be great on the counter with Brereton.

Downside is no central forward, but that's hardly Oli's fault.

Jeez ,hope you dont have suhail on speed dial.

I cant see a single positive out of Burke being the chosen one

Seems like you aren’t familiar with IPA and the like. If you buy any of these in shops, these prices aren’t too foreign tbh!

  8. New rovers beer, the size of a can of coke,

£15 for 6, or £63 for mixed pack of 24,

    Seems a lot,

But then £4.80 for 3 day delivery  on a pack of 6 or

    £7.20 delivery for next day

Or £21 for Saturday delivery, which most who work and can afford these would need.

Nearly £6 a pint, does anyone know of another carry out beer in a can more expensive.

At a time when our local pubs are closing through no real brewery support, i think this is an own goal. I'd rather support my local pub or shop, but i'd never pay £6 a pint either at home or the pub.

We are going through a global pandemic, where lots of the uk are on furlough with wages subsidised, or losing their jobs.

Where free school dinners has been a national topic,

Really cant support this because Can has a rovers badge on.
