(Please don't use that word again)ing john williams, you ######. i bought theo walcott from arsenal and had him for 2 seasons. he agreed and sifned a new 5 year contract stating that he was extremely happy to be at the club...then transfer window time and man utd offer 53M quid for him. it does not give me the option to except or reject because john williams excepted on my behalf saying that the offer was too good to refuse.

Having problems with Rovers, the only time I can compete is if I play a 4-3-3 ultra defensive setup.

I keep leaking important goals with minutes to go either getting a draw or being beaten by a goal scored in the last ten minutes

Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to go down or get the sack

The only advice I can give is that you buy a solid defence and stick with them as much as you can. For some reason, I find if you keep rotating the defence then they tend to get slack but this dosnet seem to happen anywhere else.

Just found out that my 17 year old gameboy still works! Great. It is one of the old, grey bricks and I'm chuffed. In fact it is so old it is yellowing slightly round the corners. And it has a USB 2.0 connection point which I have never noticed before.

Get it on the shelf next to the bog where it belongs - make sure a padded seat is installed first though

I finished Cains Camen Edit (Bully) at the weekend.

Very nice polished game which you can pick up for about £15 now.

Only problems were:-

Its very short

I didnt die once

You should be able to drive cars (I know he is only a school kid but it would have been nice)

I have really tried to make myself like the smiths but I just cant. Some of the tunes are catchy but for some reason I can only hear his moaning voice going through me. Most songs head in the same direction:-

The guy that does the Research for rovers is crap. Most of our players stats are way to low. For example I had a debate with him regarding the Admirals stats when the game first come out, I said they were too low and Ryan’s states should reflect that he was amongst the best 5/6 CB’s in the prem he said that Ryan’s stats shouldn’t be as high as Mellberg ( an example that I used ) because mellberg was better. This guy claims he is a season ticket holder he is more like a Burnley fan was hoping to see an improvement in MGP and Bentleys stats I particular but they are just average players on the game which in IRL they are not.

I do agree with you. I know it could be classed as cheating but why not use the editor to give more realistic stats (I have only ever used the editor to add myself by the way and I let the database choose my stats)

Hopefully we can sink them even further by beating them at Ewood.

How long have you been a Blackburn fan? You must realise by now that we dont sink people down the bottom, we help them out.

I'm a sucker for superhero games so I had to get it eventually...but I kinda wish I didn't.

Well to be fair I too am a sucker for these types of games (especially when it promises you can fly around the place) I would probably have bought it too had I not borrowed it first. I took me a week to get through it (no, not 100%, there is now way as superman I am going to fly round the place looking for cats that dont move - those who have been unlucky enought to play it will know what I am talking about)

Now, onto two promising superhero games coming up:-

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - yes, we remember this with fond memories as children (well I do anyway) but this game looks to be a very serious one indeed. What they have looked to have done is to take the game dynamics of prince of persia and throw in the Turtles for early vids see this - Click

The second I would like to talk about is Spiderman 3. Now, in recent times the spiderman games have been excellent. These are where the superman guys need to look and see what they did wrong - again, early screens here - Click

I dont know if you have bought Superman yet but if you havent then take my advise and SAVE YOUR MONEY.

It is fun flying around for a bit but it soon becomes boring. I really enjoyed Spiderman and thought this looked the same and I thought that the only difference would be the flying instead of webslinging - very wrong.

I have played more of it since the first post and my word why is the game so repetative? You have to fight the same baddies over and over again (about 10 times) before you get a new bit of level)

I really do think its the worst game on the PS2

Does anyone know yet if MLB 2K7 will be released in PAL fromat for the xbox 360? It doesn't look like it but I can't find anywhere saying that it won't be.

Brand's doing a good job

The whole programme was very slick last night - very squeeky clean indeed.

Some thoughts though:-

Do we think Russell Brand held back a little? I thought when 9 oclock comes he is going to let go but he didnt.

Nelly Furtardo = fit. Nelly Furtardo starts talking and that fitness level starts dropping - she is mental

Whats happened to Joss Stone? She used to be queit and nice. She is now loud and strutts about like she is gods gift to men and she isnt

Whats with the big Who Haa on GMTV with Take This morning? Quotes like:-

Well, if he does have a real problem then yes my remarks were a bit ignorant however, I just dont buy it from him - attention seeking is what I think it is.

Police were today called to the Walker Residence as their ears had misteriously stopped burning.

Police could not yet confirm if a misterious exlusion of rants left out of by a certain poster to the LET message board were to blame.

Police assured friends and family of the walkers that they didnt think this would last for much longer and their ears would be burning as normal again within the hour.

Yes but not for very far. You have a strength meter when in the water and it doesn't usually last long enough for you to find your way back to dry land if you fall off the side of a dock. It's better than the 'instant death' water in some of the other ones but not by much.

And this is def for the PS2 and not PSP - or is it the same

I see that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories is coming out on the PS2 - Do any of you know if you can swim in this or not?

There is a demo on marketplace, also. It doesn't maybe look like much from screenshots and videos, as you have to play it to appreciate it. |It is so much fun climbing building, creating massive explosions. A true sandbox game as they call them. Also has CO-OP which I personally haven't tried yet, but apparently it's great fun kicking your friend off a high building

The programme that I watched it on said that if you get stuck on a level, you can get your mate online to give you a hand. One part of the story will be going on where you are and the other part where your friend is or he can drive and you can shoot - I like the sound of that

Fans of GTA might want to check out Crackdown which is due out on the 360 in a few weeks.

Yes, I saw clips of this and it does look good. My will to wait for a PS3 and not get a 360 are really starting to be tested.
