Massive credit for stepping up tonight and getting his goal
-
Not sure it was his intended target but take it all day long
-
Spot on. His refusal to take the easy option was the catalyst. Brilliant.
-
Get in!!! Super finish from Dolan.
-
Sorba was poor the weekend and has started poorly here. Struggling to do the basics and looks very sluggish. Don't take any pleasure in that as I want him to be a success.
-
Was the same Saturday. We are wasting the game in our own box. We don't spend near enough time in the opposition half hence why it's such a mountain to climb when we score first. It's unfamiliar territory for us.

Not there job tbf, god forbid Buckley and Travis might give them the out and get on the ball and dictate the game. You don't even consider them when it comes to bossing a game, chipping in with a goal or setting the tempo. Just accepted now that if someone is gonna do something it's unlikely to be them. Ayala stepped up the weekend. Any chance any of our midfielders might step up tonight?

Lewis O Brien and A.Wharton would destroy them. So frustrating we are stuck with what we have in there.
-
It's pitiful.
-
Who is that on co comms? TK?
-
Praying for a scrappy, horrible, undeserved 1-0 win. Result the only important thing tonight. Big night with the other fixtures tonight and out absentees. Be delighted with a win however it may come.

Ryan Manning leaving Swansea in the summer. Swansea confirm he won't be resigning. Very capable left back, should be all over that and was linked here previously. -

Was over for the game the weekend, brought a mate who was going into it blind and wouldn't have seen much of Rovers but knows his football. So I didn't influence him at all and told him to tell me what he thinks. A few of his thoughts were as follows: Your keeper gets alot of touches doesn't he, the first thought for the players seems to be play it back and pass around the back line for ages but not going anywhere. Thought out centre halves were solid. Asked a few times where is your left back? Commented that our midfield was very absent. "You are letting Joe Allen have alot of space and no one is closing him down." You are a big team, alot of big lads in it but you don't seem to utilise it at all. Think he meant from set pieces or looking long to Gally and BBD occasionally. He liked Dolan alot, he's very busy and neat. Seems to have a spark. Thought there was potential in Gallagher but said he doesn't do much but he doesn't get any service. Dolan flashed a good ball across the box in the first half and both Gally and BBD nowhere to be seen. Don't think he even commented on BBD. When we stepped it up second half he was confused as to why we didn't start like that. Balls down the sides and a higher tempo because it didn't seem that much of an ask. Wasn't exactly a showcase but he thought we were a hard watch but solid enough. A new midfield and a decent striker and we would be alot better equipped. Seemed fair and what alot of us on here probably already know.

Throw JRC in midfield at this stage. I miss the Rothwell days, you know the guy who showed up 1 in 5 games. That sounds mighty appealing right now!

The JDT affect
-
Bittersweet.
-
That is one hell of a stat.
-
That true????
-
Doesn't mask the pitiful way we conceded. Happy to get a point if that's the case but very worrying signs yet again.
-
Imagine if we tested their keeper more often
-
He is decent. I have faith in him.
-
Let's not get carried away🤣
-
Why are some acting like we are lucky to have JDT, he isn't an elite manager. In fact I'd say he is quite poor. Majority of games that have been in the balance, we have lost. Out of his depth, doesn't mean people want coyle etc but I don't think JDT is much better.
-
But we are third..oh wait. Back JDT..oh wait Gregg will sort it...oh wait You get slated on here for being realistic. It's not negative or taking any joy whatsoever in criticising the club. It's being realistic. Alot of supporters are either naive or in denial.
