Now Eustace need some financial backing and good transfer budget this summer to improve the squad and bring in his own players so we can play his style of football and get up that table

It's been a grind, but any coach who can get 6 clean sheets in 17 out of our team deserves the chance for a fresh start next season.
It's uncontested. He will be here -contract says so and the Raos wont sack someone if it cost them money. SWAG has got his man. The fresh start will be operating under reduced expenditure. (But perhaps JE will fly out to Pune to grovel and pay homage and get some more cash. Who knows?)

I thought Leicester gave it a good go from half time until we scored.
Not really. Both goals came from them playing so high (brilliantly taken by Sammie though, especially the first.)

let’s regroup over the summer have a break and go again next year.
With bigger cost reductions, Sammie sold, reliant on freebies -Indian court permitting....

Great day and congratulations to the players and John Eustace whose approach to saving the club from relegation was vindicated today.
And so the PR machine begins...

Bloody ell, 7 points clear of relegation, I didn't actually realise how bad the decline was.
That's cliff edge stuff.
Yawn.

Do you think that getting 5 points from his last 11 games, most of them with Wharton in the team, was a major managerial failure by JDT ?
If we go down, do you think it is JDT's fault?

continuity of playing style
of course we have one -JDT era was a blip-back to normal now with SWAG in full control...

Close the thread -there won't be any major incomings.
Or are JE and SWAG planning a trip to Pune to brown nose the Raos? Worked for the gurning one.

Anybody running a book on:-
how many pages this thread will reach by the end of the window
how many players will be linked
how many players we will actually sign for real money

Prices announced soon as we are safe and whilst there is plenty of rubbish about getting in new players.

Jury out for me. Set up in the only way he could really against a top side. Worked a treat. Players worked hard but look incredibly poor on the turnover (but that is down to personnel not his coaching). Leeds look jaded and we rode our luck. Second half we sensed we might get something and had a few chances. But so did they. I know I am in a camp of only one, but for me, in the Prem and with VAR they could have had at least 3 pens (I know some on here would most definitley be crying if it was the other way round) and they missed at least 2 good headers.
But we deserved our win and it was great to behold. Just not getting overexcited particularly when we all know what will happen in the summer.
Is the transfer thread open yet? 😉

hen we all wait and see what happens in the Summer.
You know what will happen in the summer. Pray that Broughton or whoever can find the new SS/BB/AA.

A point would be fine against them, Coventry is the game I fancy we seal it
Coventry would want to stick it to SWAG?

Worth noting that without the thrashing at Bristol, we wouldn't have won today.
On the other hand, if we had won at Bristol, points wise today wouldn't have mattered, other than the pleasure of sticking it to Leeds.

Terrible ref. I mean, he gave us everything 😉
3 penalties all day long LOL. Good job VAR not working in the Chumpionship.Cracking win –always nice to see Leeds crying.
Couldn’t help smiling at the goal. Gally wins a header (!), Dolan lovely first touch and then the vision to reverse it to Sammie, and you know the rest –one touch Sammie.

In many ways, aye.
But I do also think, those with an axe to grind with JDT deliberately overlook just how badly JE has done on the whole tbf.
And it will become the narrative over the summer if we do go down. All JDTs fault but we can rebuild, new manager, we're all in it together yada yada

Another way to look at this season's calamity to acknowledge that two managers have got similar tunes from this set of players.
Or that perhaps JDT got the points that might just keep us up.
