I too am feeling a little numb since watching the match on Sky. First half til they scored we looked the most likely to take the lead. Second half i thought we were excellent,only to be punished by a crazy referee. Besides the penalty we had three players booked one twice. Southampton were consistently let off by the ref when their challenges were mistimed. Dickov constantly battled and on the 50/50 decisions he usually came out as the offender. Is this ref and others against Rovers for Souness,s attitude towards referees. I have no idea. Lets hope for a miracle i recall a couple of seasons ago getting beat at Fulham then going to the Library and getting an outstanding result which changed our season. Dont know whats going on at Ewood,we were led to believe that getting rid of cole would make a happy camp,but surely constantly playing people out of position,will ###### players off. I need a few earlier than that. I have a spare copy of 55/56 Middlesborough, condition is not bad for the year,Middlesboro written in pencil on the cover. I would be interested in swapping for anything i need.I also have quite a few spares in the mid to late fifties early sixties. This forum can be a good idea if people dont abuse it. I think that Rovers have very few serious programme collectors and it is about time we all got together to try and make programme collecting the friendly helpful hobby it used to be before so many greedy dealers tried making a fortune out of it.

You should be able to book a hotel in Stuttgart for around 20 euro a night.I think the tournament is outside Stuttgart,check first exactly wher the tournament is being played.No need to book a hotel in advance just turn up and get one when you get there.Much cheaper.

People mention Leeds are offering 10 year season tickets. Who says Leeds will be around in 5 years let alone 10!!!! Bradford City offered 25 year season tickets 3 years ago for a bargain £2000. They sold approx 1000 of them bringing in 2million. The local papers in Bradford tel you now that they may well go into liquidation at the end of the season. It doesnt look a bargain anymore to have bought a 25 year season ticket. Obviously i hope they continue as a football club, but the warning signs are there for anyone. Second point the guy promoting the 10 year season ticket at Elland Rd is no other than Geoffrey Richmond,the person who put Bradford into the brown and smelly.

What i cant understand is them turning down offers for their players.The only way to secure a future for the club is to sell theirs assets and play with the young kids.I appreciate that would probably mean 2nd div football at elland rd in a couple of years,but surely thats better for them than no football.

I have an Italian friend from Udine who is a rovers fan,he tells me most italian clubs arent in a position to pay their players wages!!!!!!!!!!
