Have you seen anything that has changed to allow anybody at Ewood to approve a spend over £5k EH? A big stumbling block has always been how slow the process is to get anything approved due to the silly chain of command and almost mistrust. I am optimistic about the new football set up the the non football side frustratingly appears to remain the same.
Well, i’m not privy to any goings on or info within the realm of brfc. Perhaps you can enlighten everyone here?
As for the silly chain of command, did Broughton in fact say he has direct communication to the chokers!
Time will tell, time will tell
EH!

Not even close. Clubs don't want him for free never mind anywhere near 3mil.
Be interesting to see where he turns up? Maybe back in Namibia with his football school ... who knows!

I envisage the usual transfer window to which we have become accustomed. We will have interest in players but will be slow out of the blocks and be usurped by other clubs. A lot of this will be because of the dysfunctional chain of command. We will wait until deadline day, panic and make a plethora of random signings more in an effort to boost the numbers than to improve the quality.
And, perhaps more importantly we will have played seven games by then which will more than likely shape our season.
Somehow i honestly cant see that happening
1. GB reportedly has a direct contact to the chokers (maybe their advisers)
2. I dont think GB & JDT will tolerate it
Theres a new guard coming in, and new changes. I know its difficult but lets be optimistic for once EH!

Name me one thing that gets done relatively quickly at Rovers ?
Under normal circumstances ( if their is any with the chokers) i would totally agree.
But, at present i think we would struggle to bring out a team we could be comfortable with. So it will have too -
As GB stated, JDT needs a bit of time to recognise and identify who we need (some already are apparently) I think once this happens it will all be done relatively quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised if things are happening behind closed doors as i speak, even as soon as end of next week
No point in going out buying players willy nilly.

You’ve worked it out cost wise? There are more than enough free players out there who would snap the wages up in a heartbeat
As usual, you missed the point!
Have a rethink or read again

Waggot has lost thousands of ST holders on his watch and now 3 read it again THREE of our graduate players.
All for nothing, zero, zilch.
This of course can be dressed up as part of the great reset but it isn't is it, it leaves the new manager instantly needing 3 key players with likely no money to bring them in.
In short it's pathetic.
Mowbray is gone now carry on the great reset and get rid of this bum who has done nothing in his time here except try and downgrade everything whilst pushing prices up.
As ive already stated on the ST thread, I worked out what its going to cost to replace these three players, we could of filled the ground for free all season

Then why didn't they do that and let Mowbray spend some of the Armstrong cash, particularly in January when we had promotion in our sights?
Didn’t Mowbray say that there was funds for players in January but decided on not to buy another striker, i’m sure he said that in a interview somewhere. He did however bring in Markanday from Spurs for the future though
Also think in January, Mowbray felt betrayed and disappointed, his ego was decimated and he lost all interest in the club. The penny dropped by then and he realised he wasn’t being offered a new contract

Am i right in thinking Nyambe contract does not expire until June 30th?
If so, why is he not back!

The skill in profiting from player recruitment is finding players who are worth more than their asking price (regardless of how high it may seem at the time).
credit has to go for mowbray for that, just as we’d slam mowbray for paying over the odds for someone who didn’t end up performing for us.
Or letting contracts run down! .... Totally shameful ... Off with his head

Has the squad been named yet who are going to Portugal?

Yeah it’s a random transfer generator account mate.
Chaddy’s fallen for it hook line and sinker, be very surprised if he hasn’t tweeted Nixon for confirmation yet 🤣
Add Carvelia (or whatever his name is) to the mix and chaddy is doing great this past couple of weeks 😆😆😆

We might shift 50 when the fixtures come out today. And then another 50 before next week's deadline.
Only a marquee signing (or 2) will get more to consider it. Was ever the case. I remember the excitement when we signed Archibald. Alas Broughton will be searching for a bargain in the flea market.
Archibald?
Think that it was more a combo of Steve Archibold and Osvaldo (Ossie) Ardilas for the ticket sales. Both players being a major coup at the time- 1

Seems to me Dolans wages is just £600 a week and Brereton is on £6000 a week,.....Dack on £18.500 a week, highest at the club.
Nyambe is on £4500 a week.
Explain why Dolans agent has been pushing his name

We will see, we started with Farke and ended up with JDT. Not saying JDT is not a nice change but he's not in the same bracket as Farke.
Nobody knows that yet Ulrich, lets see how the cloth falls

Correct, people forgetting how class Dolan was when he played whilst Arma was injured in the Arma role and he was fantastic.
Has an excellent cross too. Think Mowbray beat the creativity out of him similar to Travis.
Have to agree with this, also think people forget he’s only 20yrs old.

What’s the question you want answering?
The forum is happy is here.
You are asking why it is isn’t a coup; nobody has said it wasn’t a coup to get a fella that was managing in the CL and winning titles in recent seasons
You’ve asked why posters think Rovers isn’t attractive; nobody has said it isn’t, we are Blackburn Rovers fanatics on this forum, of course we think it’s an attractive job.
So like I said you are stirring again and I don’t know what you are getting out of it…Matty there are the odd member here known to fall out with themselves thinking they’re above all an sundry
you know the type, they sit on there own in a dark corner of the pub waiting for the pub quiz to start, usually wearing a patterned tank top and bi focal glasses and a green frayed wooly hat. Complete with a gympish smile and crooked yellowy black teeth
