Vale was bringing them in last season for under 21's. He struggled in some games but still learning his all round game.
He is a developing player and that's why JDT plays him hoping that game after game he'll improve. Unfortunately for us he's not quite there yet.

ITV struggling to find pundits for their highlight show?
Time delays in adverts means any pundit trying to make a valid point is cut off in his/her prime.

The longer and longer it goes on, the leas benefit we gain from any positive outcome from the appeal. How many games will he have missed by the time it concludes?
Which makes me think EFL dont see it as high priority as theyve done nothing wrong or/and ........someone there has made a massive mistake.
But why no media headlines ? Apart from Nicko.

It was strange appointment in the first place by Southampton and why they even looked at him in the first place. I wonder who next they will go for.
Yeah strange.
Maybe his enthusiasm on the touch line and the fact he was manager of the season last year but didn't get promotion hit a note with Southampton board. Imagine that premiership teams/players on higher pay can be a difficult management obstacle especially when manager arrives part way as a firefighter. They needed someone with premiership experience not just someone who impressed.
Bielsa is up there with bookies but I'd go for Big Sam.

So Nixon's saying in the S*n rag that the LOB appeal has failed, but then when questioned on twitter he denies it's failed?
I don't get the Nixon hate most of the time, but I do today!
Nixon's guess work approach is to sell stories. Why would he know decision before Rovers do??

Good point and decent performance in isolation. Watford we’re on top when they scored. We then changed it removing Dack and Brereton which, for once, helped us get back into the game, albeit removing any goal threat.
Just another game that reminds us that, outside of the top 2, this league is very ordinary all the way through.
Ordinary maybe but nothing for us this season. Instead we're left with memories of missed opportunities, Wigan x2, Preston & Burnley no shows, return of Brereton & a soggy pitch.
Still in the cup though!

Delay by EFL is damaging their reputation.
If they got it wrong we can question their ability in running the organisation. If they got it right then what took then so long.

I would give him an ultimation. Sign for us or be dropped from the club.
He's had too many chances and it's obvious he's saving himself for Spain at our expense.
Simply don't play him again.

I went to ‘An Evening With Sir Kenny Dalglish’ in Glasgow tonight. He spoke very fondly of his time with the Rovers, and described Pleasington to a tee 😂😱
Remember seeing Dalglish & Shearer kicking long balls on a deserted Pleasie pitch. Both had a love for football & reaching the top. It paid off!

Good to know Brittain's playing.

Purely guess work by Nixon how would he have this info?? Ok he's a journalist but he might have realised, as GB stated, "external" & "internal" issues/factors that may never be released.

Begs the question why appeal? Its clear to everyone worldwide when and what time the Transfer Window closes so why would the football authorities change their rules because of incompetent people who should know better. Appeals are there to ensure a fair & proper system but the answer will not change from what has already been given unless there are some facts still to be revealed.
The other side of this is obviously the player's career but also us fans. Blackburn Rovers Football Club is a very big part of our lives. Some more than others will feel this in different ways. Personally I'm gutted.

Neil McDonald has been a good addition on Co commentary duty tonight. It's as if he is a Rovers fan, urging us on at every opportunity.
Radio Lancs need to have him on more. Knows his football.
Yeah good. Is Dan Jewel a dingle?
