My thoughts on the game are,
We started the game really well and on the front foot and Szmodics scored a good goal from good play from Ayari, and I thought we would win the game. After Sigurdsson missed that great chance, Plymouth took over the rest of the first half by playing some good passing football and making with real width and playing balls over the top/in between Wharton and McFadzean. We played far too high and allow Hardie to simply run in behind time after time. Plymouth missed a number of great chances and I was relieved to get to half time with us winning. I expect changes to the team cos Wahlstedt looked injured during the first half making a save at the Plymouth player feet. I expect Hedges to come on for McFadzean at half time with us moving to 4-4-2 or stick with 3 at the back with Pickering moving to centre back and Hedges at half time. Plus Michalski coming on for his debut for the Injured Wahlstedt. I was very surprised no changes at half time.
We started the second half well but then we were too high again and Hardie run in behind and McFadzean fouled him. I don't know how bad it was or whether it was soft but it could have been avoid if if Eustace had sub McFadzean off for Chrisene or Hedges.
After that it would tough and Plymouth carried on with playing attacking football and making the pitch as big as possible but they couldn't find a goal. Rovers had a couple of half chances but nothing more. When we would the ball back we were too quick to give it back to them.
Ayari was our best player for me. Szmodics played well. Wahlstedt and Hyam also had decent games.
Plymouth exploited the wide areas alot and their number 2 Mumba was their best player for me. Also Wharton and McFadzean slowest at turning behind them
So overall, its another point and its 8 points from 8 games since JDT left, and after today's games we are 3 points clear.
Its a big week for Eustace cos he has a full week of training to get his ways and methods he wants and get 3 points at Boro next Saturday we badly need. I would like us to set either 4-4-1-1 or 3-5-2 next week at Boro.
P.S. I didn't understand the booing of Ash Phillips or the booing at full time either.
Also the officials were awful and one of the worst displays I've seen all season.
Some good points Chaddy. Eustace should have spotted McFadzean was too slow in first half and done something about it. First ten minutes and our keeper hadn't touch the ball. Then we scored, should have had two but then they realised how poor our defense is and with us down to 10 & all stats heavily agains us Plymouth should have won.
Agree no need for booing, the team played to their abililities and deserved credit for holding on to a point. I don't agree with Venkys non show etc but on match days players need our support.
No doubt who player of the season is and I doubt if Sammie will be at Ewood next season.

Moran cost us that game.
Little else to say.
Can't see how Moran plays again because this isn't the first time he's been not good enough. Unless there's something in that loan contract??

Swans will be bragging about winning at Sunderland but Tuesday's cup game must have put some confidence in the team that have drawn last 3 games or even 4 if you include aet result on Tuesday. Hoping we're beginning to see the change and we come away with a 1 2 victory.

Referee Oliver Langford & his assistant (riverside) were as bad as I've seen at Ewood this season. Why on earth does the EFL continie to employ idiots that are no better than than Sunday league?
Norwich had Langford sust. Fall to the ground & roll about like you've had a kick that may require treatment and he gives you a freekick. One one ocaision when Langford didn't blow, the Norwich defender got up and carried on as if nothing happened, which is correct because on that occaision nothing did happen. Uterly perthahic performance by two inapt officials.
Pears was again MOM & Pickering had a decent game. No passing around at the back was a relief.

Get this ref off. He's a complete knob.

Disappointing hardly a threat. Norwich know how to play ref we don't.

Sadly the parachute payments mean that you can waste £110m in one season and still be ok in the Championship.
Realistically Burnley should be stuffed - they'll just bounce back up next year.
Yeah probably. let's just enjoy this season though as it's not if but when.

Only 6 shots at goal 4 of which in first half. Credit to lads for not conceding second half & a point away when we're fighting relegation is decent.
Really difficult game. Think it was hard for players too.

Recall the game there last season when due to M6 south closing I was one of 200 Rovers fans that arrived 25 mins late. Big club knew about it before kickoff and said they would keep turnstyles open for the late arrival of away fans. They didn't and at 355pm I was driving home.
At the time I asked a big club security officer he he could open the gate and walk us round. No was the reply. On my way back to the car I gave my story to a big club car park attendent. His advise was to contact/write to the Birmingham City Council mayor, a big club fan, and ask him for a refund. I didn't.
Hearing big club are saying tickets (cash only) are available on the night. Would I trust in their word??

A bit of entertainment and it's worth watching to see our goals from a different angle.
That pass from Brittain to Dolan was something else.
Bits of the crowd are hilarious, it would show SWAG what booing at players is really like.
Burger is extremely brave or mad.
Rovers, under Waggott, banned our fans from videoing matches at Ewood a few years ago, is that still the case
Absolutely brilliant watch & listen. That lad has a future!
We needed that.

The silence from the club is simply not good enough.
Communicate with the fans please. Be open and honest with us and been more transparent
Well said Chaddy but can't say I'm shocked.

Waggott will take whatever is thrown at him as long as club pays him. He knows like most that owners are shite but he's in work.

A mass walk out of home fans.
Agree. Security at Ewood would need to know for H&S reasons as exit gates don't open until 80 mins. Telling security would mean they would have to open the gates which would give more publicity to the cause. Having said that a few 100 would make no difference.

if he does depart, who in their right mind would come to manage/coach the club when its now becoming (more) public that the owners don't have and never have had any intension of running a football club. This has gone on for 13 years. We need shut.

And to rub salt in, Rovers ceo (well I mean that chap who works for venkys) states we might even make a profif this year. Music to venky's ears because their ownership of Rovers is nothing to do with football.
