Damn shame Mowbray doesn't hear the anger of our passionate support.
From his professional view how on earth is can he manage another game?

Venkys wake up. Get on the phone and sack Mowbray now.

Lost all respect for Mowbray. He's staying because they are paying him.

Another training ground move gone completely wrong with Dack. Professional footballers or are they only part time in which case they don't practice every day!!!!!!
Yes I'm frastrated.

Harwood-Bellis needs to be careful. Can see a sending off/penalty due to his inexperience.

Missing out on this season's playoff coupled with a manager who refuses to walk - we are not the only one's who can see he's lost the plot, no need to CCTV Ewood Park - it feels like relegation. Just wish we could voice our opinion.
Come on Andy Bayes & Rich Sharpe, you can see it! If Alf Thornton was at LT he'd insist on a front page "......FANS WANT MOWBRAY OUT....." . Give us something to cheer about in these historic dark day.

At the risk of the tinfoil hat but IS he actually running the show now ?
Rumours of players being brought in by recruitment dept. the signings of BB and Gallagher and the latters constant shoe horning in. His general demeanor on the touchline and increasing nonsense spouted. Bringing on loan players when we are supposed to be chasing games etc.
Something doesn't smell right, is he just a coach now ? Is Championship Manager the real life version in play again ?
Most on here including me want Mowbray out but he ain't going to walk despite implying he would many moons ago if he felt he could do no more. Even without the fans at games he will know to some extent the anger we have but because he doesn't see or hear there is limited fan pressure. Pressure from Venkys is the unknown but I doubt their involvement, but that's only a doubt.
But I think you're tomphil. His daft comments, passing on responsibility to players, playing a forward at right back with Gally shaking his head as he was substituted along with his sitting games out suggests something has happened and he doesn't like it.

Everyone on this MB seems to want Mowbray sacked.
With the decisions he makes and lack of match contribution whilst he's sitting down, I'm thinking even Mowbray would like the sack.
While all this time is precious, if and when he does go we will look back on this season as a season when we could have made the playoffs under proper football management.

Branthwaite was a joke tonight
So was Mowbray. Gally at right back???

Man of the man for me is Gally, for playing fullback when clearly he didn't want to.
After yet another home defeat instead of the "...we move on.." hope to hear ".... I move on..."

I sense a Kaminski blunder.

I am annoyed with myself for getting excited before the QPR match. I have managed to temper my expectations over the last few seasons but for some reason thought we might be able to finally become contenders this time - albeit unconvincinglly. I think it was the hope that 10 points from 12 without playing too well, may have injected some extra belief and determination into the team. No such luck! I really should have known better.
I can't understand the apparant lack of a spark or any real fight. I don't think Mowbray's and Venus' pitch-side demeanors help at all. They really look as if they aren't that interested slumped in their seats.
I noticed Charlie Austin constantly encouraging his team mates and shouting and generally looking like he wanted to win at all costs. That is the sort of character we are missing. I fully believe we had the personnel to beat QPR but we didn't have the application or the desire. Why is that ? I think I know the answer.
I notice that in the LT interview, after describing how we managed to lose, Mowbray ended with 'Never mind - move on to the next game' sums it up really !
I can't comment on the wine debate as I can't stand the stuff but I think I'll be crying into my Guinness for many Saturdays to come.
Excellent post Crimpshrine. You're correct about Charlie Austin. Every team needs a winner but our lot came out as if they where auditioning for "some mother do ave em".
On Tony Mowbray, his match day attitude has been questioned before and if you add this to his "let's move on" after match interviews it makes me think what encouragement does he give in the dressing room and at training sessions. Very little judging by what we saw on Saturday.
Not good enough Tony for this proud football club. You're a nice chap, got us back into the Championship, but the requirements at this level are more. We need an enthusiastic manager to bring out the best of these young lads including the rising U23 stars.
Can't see any change coming in the remaining matches but a new manager will give us hope for next season.

Another poor performance. We are not worthy of a visit to the top 6.
Under a new manager next season things will be different.

Always same when we get too close to top 6.
-
Was up early to watch Root, not disappointed. He's tiring but knows when to score runs like his 6 that took him beyond 200.
Channel 4 good but Cook will never be a Bumble.
Popes out 473-5

As a side note Evans is what early 30s playing in an u23s game and still isn’t good enough.
Yet just read "Corry Evans has proven a wise and solid head in the middle of the park for the visitors."

Back in the early 1970's I attended a local sportman's evening with a junior team. Pie and peas including guests Sir Roger Jones, Derek Fazackerley and Dick Mulvaney.
Not sure if the Dirty Duck was The Wheatsheaf Bazza. Think that was on Mincing Lane.

It was one or the other. I really don't know. Was the Mecca on St Peter Street between Mincing Lane and Darwen Street? If so this pub was on Darwen St.
Yeap Mecca was as you say. Was the Darwen St pub The Merchants?

Luton are are good team but even though we were poor going forward for most of the game, Branthwaite, Douglas and Kaminski held us together at the back. Superb goal and credit given for quick thinking.
Three points off playoff position isn't a bad place to be considering a month ago we were 7 off and played a game more.
Would just love to be debating this win in the Blues Bar.

Luton still complaining to the ref!! No u turn today, win stands.
Don't know why they are complaining. The drop ball was their own doing. !0 from 12.
-
Get In!
That will teach Luton for their tactics

Bad choice of pass by Gally. Should have pulled it back,

Mowbray needs to change things.

What kind of a shot at was that from Armstrong? Absolutely rubbish
Some might say it was the pitch but Armstrong should be testing keeper with that shot,
