He was pushed yet Palmer only got a yellow. That situation doesn't deserve a red.

I thought the same and so did the match commentator. A yellow would have been enough.

Maybe that resulted in the following red card for a foul on Gallagher that was not a clearing scoring chance and Cov also had other defenders back.

A combination of their recent home form being solid, having Rowett in the dugout, and that they know they need to win. They'll treat it as a cup final, their ground will be full and they've done this sort of thing more than one before on the final game of the season.

Norwich will play full strength. They will want to finish 5th so they get imploding Southampton in the playoffs.

The problem is that there's absolutely nothing upfront. Szmodics is doing the work of 3 men. Dolan and Gallagher have contributed nothing, again.

You're once again hoping to keep them out and nick a goal.

And yet we've had the better of the chances.

    We're still in the lottery

It's drab, yes we create chances but it's off the back of a tired Coventry, not because we are any good.

Turned into an even bigger must win now, will Eustace have the fire within him to get these players playing? Personally I don't think so.

    We need to win.

    But

    We must not lose.

Leicester already promoted. Coventry's hopes hanging by a thread.

Regardless, I expect them both to be professional and try to win.

Our options are very limited. Eustace knows his best 14. Unfortunately, we struggle to score goals and some of our players are prone to disastrous errors.

    Rovers 1 - Coventry 2.

Today we have a chance of points.

Leicester will beat us, they are at home, they will have already won or still be going for the title plus they are in with a good chance of 100 points. They will be go for the win in the final game in front of their celebrating fans.

We need to get our job done today.

Surely these facility repairs and safe standing could all be funded comfortably from the £25 million cash coming into the club since last summer? Or are we supposed to forget about that.

Just like we are supposed to forget that not long ago Coventry were a 4th division side playing in Northampton, so yes I take exception when Rovers employees are using them as an example of what we could/should be. The only reason we are below them is because of mismanagement at our end which has been bettered by virtually every other club in the Football League.

The owners, board and our senior management expect us to forget and many of us do.

It's like the Maguire FU never happened, although as the ball in now back with Orlando they will be the reason why it never ever happens.

There will never be an outcome for this fictitious internal investigation into what happened in January.

They think we are stupid and they are correct in many cases.

Lunatics running what is an asylum.

And still I read expectations of a rebuild starting this summer.

    I can't make this up.

Waggott pointed out yet again on Tuesday night at the awards night, just how luck we are to have such wonderful owners.

I read the Forum minutes too. Lots about the many repairs, due to years of neglect, needed at Ewood but no mention of such expenses being outside of FFP and therefore an easy payment for the billionaires.

Crowd funding for safe standing as they can't get grants for such .......

Waggott is a charlatan of decades of same BS.

Will someone PLEASE tell him to shut his clueless mouth!!

He's a Company Man, has the condescending smile so necessary to play the part and he's not very bright, indeed a tad thick as Pig shit.

Because we're better on the counter attack.

Have been for a while. But I think a stat was put up during the Wednesday game on Sky for just Eustace's reign. And over 50% possession had less points result than under.

Even though we're at home, a relegation battle makes teams more cagey. Cov now have nothing to lose, all guns blazing, come at us hard.

We sit back, low possession stats, then pick them off on the break with Sammie and Dolan's pace.

    Easy peasy right.

You had me until Dolan and pace were in the same sentence.

  10. Simms will score so we need at least 2 goals for a win.

So basically step forward Sammie and save us.

Robins will motivate Coventry, that is a given, and I hope our lot don't fall for the "they are fatigued" bollocks. That would be a recipe for disaster.

Coventry only lost to a good Hull side because they gift wrapped 2 of Hull's goals and were victims of Ref inadequacy in the build up to the penalty.

Shows all of his errors leading to goals this season.

He’s that bad an account with 675k followers has accused him of match fixing 😂

The 4th one, where he just sinks to his knees with no other movement, has happened more than once as has just standing still as the ball goes in.

Makes me wonder if he needs glasses.

It's just a lack of awareness from Hyam. Should have been safety first knowing his keeper was out.

Having said that, the finish was outstanding.

It really was a great finish. Perfectly hit.

Hyam is clumsy, he tried to control the ball, big mistake, but put in that predicament by Pears thinking he can do a controlled headed pass, what, 30 or more yards from goal. He was close to the touchline he should have just headed it out of play.

Both made fatal errors, meanwhile Wharton was ambling back like a beached walrus to provide cover.
