Watched Red State aswell yesterday, I enjoyed it, yet at the same time I'm not entierly sure the film knew what it wanted to be.
Was a good film though and fair play to Kevin Smith for trying something new.
Watched attack the block last nigh.
Basically aliens attack a council estate in north london, be warned though if you watched any interviews with the scum involved in the riots and wanted to beat crap out of them, then this film will wind you up something rotten.
Yea, in quarantine they left the demonic possession and went down the man made rabies path.
In all honesty i spent more time watching Qaurantine trying to figure out where i'd seen the people before than enjoying it.
It also feels at lot more staged than REC.
And you should check Tucker and Dale vs Evil out.Really good film and great take on the slasher hillbillie genre.
Watched a film last night called Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Basically collage kids go camping in red neck territory.
Only this time you see it from the hill billies side.
A group of kids that have seen to many teen horrors and 2 unlucky well meaning care free hillbillies.
Really enjoyed it, funny and a real charm to it.
Watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes tonight.
Really not sure what to expect...i'm thinking King Kong/monkey shines/jurrasic park.
As it's an american film about something rising against humans, i'm going to stick my neck out and say the usa army saves the day and kill the apes.
I enjoyed Super, despite him being a so called super hero it was good to show his human side and vunrability.
Also did anyone watch Superheros of Surburbia tonight on 4?
Surley that can't be real.
David Goyer(writer of Batman Begins and Dark Knight) Is working on a new Godzilla.
As a fan of the Japanese films I hope it stays in tune with said films as oppose to the 1998 US pop-corn film.
It may just be me going through some kind of retro B-Movie thing, But I've really got into the old man in rubber suits Godzilla movies.
Yes the acting, scripts, plot and special FX are bad.............but I bloody love them.
Yeah i found the lie/doubt/truth system easy to read.As others say just watch there eyes.dont press the button straight away.they mostley give away what the truth is after a short while.
