I've stated on a number of occasions that, IMO, our football club is severely under managed. This latest shambolic escapade only serves to reinforce my view.
I think it's inconceivable Waggott and Pasha opted to be in Birmingham rather than 'on site', whereever that was, when big calls might have been needed to be made in the final hours of the window.
Is Sylvester to blame? We can’t be sure. I suspect someone will be made a scapegoat.
As for Broughton, I've not been impressed since he arrived. He and his team have had months to plan for this window - result:
One loan signing - a winger when the all football world knows we needed a central striker and a combative central midfielder
The dispatch of the abject Hirst who was our number one striking target throughout the summer!
The dispatch of Markanday to Aberdeen when the lad has shown in glimpses, when give a chance, he might really have something to offer
In my opinion, an abysmal window.
I think Broughton as DOF should hang his head in shame and should be summarily dismissed. IMO, he's spectacularly failed to deliver - that is the bottom line and there can be no excuses.
The whole management at Ewood from top to bottom, IMO, fails to deliver and should be swept away.
I Can't argue with any of that , well said Mercer.

Danny Graham. Before that, Gestede.
(Not counting defenders of course)
Rudy yes, if a bit wild with his direction., Danny ok, not great though.
Martin is also a very clever player, him and Dack would be excellent together, if he's not past it already,
I haven't seen much of him lately.

Talking of Chris Martin, when was the last time we had a player at this club who was really good
in the air ?
Get him brought in on a free and send in those crosses.

Well there's always Chris Martin, knocking on a bit ,but better than what we have as a central striker and
very good in the air.

Radio 5 live saying Rovers having slightly the better of it in the first half.

Wigan at home next, i'll bet we lose that and Brum win the cup replay.
Then our season will be over.

Meanwhile in the league Boro move up to 3rd, we drop to 5th.

Ross Stewart off on a stretcher for Sunderland, apparently didn't look good.
Shame for big Tone, he can have Gally if he wants him.

Apropos of absolutely nothing and with no knowledge other than they’re at some kind of impasse with him, but… if Mowbray has guaranteed playing time to Gelhardt and Leeds (as is being suggested “online”), what happens with Ross Stewart? I read they’ve offered £10k/week to him, which is three times his wage currently. Even with our limited wage structure, we could beat that. They’d want a lot of money and both Bournemouth and Brentford are supposed to be looking at him. Remote hope of this being incredibly under the radar? Fanciful, but I do fancy it.
How old is Stewart ?
Could be a £7m project signing, if he's young enough.

Too much of a gamble.
Maybe, especially with the new stadium due next season, although if someone else takes them
down, it might be on for the summer, given the job he's done at Turf Moor.

I might be a bit worried if I was a Dingle.
They might be struggling, but Everton are massive compared to Burnley.

I hope we win with a goal deflected off someone's arse. It's the only way to make this kind of commentary bearable.
Ideally in the 98th min and the last kick of the game.

Both our CB's now on yellows.

Rotherham 1-0 up at Watford.

Bristol City haven't had a penalty awarded in over 440 days, according to Talksport.
Oh dear, we all know what happens next, don't we ?

Not surprised we lost, but 4-0 ?
Good grief that's sacking territory.

Well deserved 3-0 lead for the Millers.
I'd swap their manager for ours.

Not hard to believe that we are losing 2-0 to a team at the bottom of the form league.
JDT out.

Hedges can't beat the keeper.

Bit better there eh ?

The goal went in off the player who should have been redcarded.
Justice done.

Norwich are four points behind us with a game in hand. They were quick enough with a decisive move to get rid of Dean Smith. It will be interesting to see whether us or them finish the higher at the end of the season.
You already know the answer to that don't you ?
So do most of us on this board, the Facebook wallers will just live in hope as usual.

Just let them play, no instructions from JDT, they are better without him
I used to say the same about Mowbray, just give him matchdays off.
