It says on the Stanley forum, there was a bit of bother with the visiting dingles.

Everybody knows the FA only employ 'Yes' men.
People like Brian Clough , Allardice & Martin O`Neil will/would never be allowed to manage England, as they`d want to do it their own way...which would mean pushing those idiots at the FA into the background where they belong.
The morons at the FA are only feathering their own nests & protecting themselves by employing people who will do as they are told......i.e Steve McLaren

. The good thing is its on a wednesday night so most of the young burnley idiots will have school in the morning!!!
I`d have thought most schools would`ve finished for the holidays by that time?

Christiano Ronaldo has opened his own soccer school:-

I`ve said for ages, the british press are the scum of the earth.
Journalists are supposed to report the news, not make the news.
-
Gutted
...but at the end of the day, England were very poor throughout the tournament & to put it bluntly 'we were not good enough'.
So called world class players such as Lampard & Gerrard didn`t shine & looked ordinary.
-
I fear 'Riverdance' has just opened up a whole world of pain on himself.
The British press just love to demonise people.
I personally cannot stand the whinging, diving little scrote-sack & hope he effs off back abroad. He`s gonna get some major stick at away grounds this coming season.

At the end of the day we're in it for the fun and we've already had two great nights on the back of it.
I didn`t know you could ride them as well! Wow! I`m getting one!
-
, I've got one going cheap!
....would that not be a bird??

You may not be doing much boozing on the crossings if the North Sea produces a "drop of roughers" as we used to call it in the Navy.
haha! I once nearly went on a cruise. I told one of the old-timers in the pub that i got sea sick but it was only the med, so i`d be ok
He laughed & said "might be 'only the med' but it can throw up a bloody good storm like anywhere!" he then went on to tell me about being in on a troop ship in the med during WW2 in a massive storm, with thousands packed together like sardines....not very nice
I ended up not going.

f### me!
I know England won 2-0, but we are bl00dy rubbish.
Hardly left the rest of the world quaking in their boots did we?
The 1st decent team we come up against, we`re out.
-
....Just think of them as little horses
-
All the British TV news crews are trolling around Nurembourg today looking, nay praying for a decent kick-off they can report on.
People having fun & enjoying themselves is not big news.
-
Haven`t read the whole thread, but i couldn`t help but raise a smile when i saw the name on one of the Japanese players shirts.....FUKUNISHI!!!
Gotta be one of the best of the tournament so far!
-
, in fact not that long ago in the MEN there was a story about fans using dead relatives season tickets as they don't want to lose their seats!
Ahh.....so that`s why old trafford is so quiet!

Alex Ferguson........Owd Whiskey Nose.

Cisse had some harsh words for Rovers fans but wouldn't it be nice if Rovers supporters could show them what we're really made off and send him a letter of support.
To be honest, it`s a terrible shame for Cisse, but it`s one of the hazzards of the job....just like a lorry driver runs a higher risk of crashing. I personally don`t think sending him a card will change the way Cisse thinks about BRFC or it`s fans. Call me harsh, but all he will be thinking about is his carreer prospects & his wages still being paid.

interesting read. many thanks

On a similar (but different ) note,
I remember being told of the Bury station accident, i think during the 50s. (?)
...where a bridge over the tracks (full of travelling rovers fans) collapsed, injuring lots of people.
A bloke i know, says he was there, but not actually on the bridge.
It is also said that a young Jack Walker was also at the station & helped his fellow injured rovers fans.
Does anybody know more about this incident? I`d be interested to hear more about it.

Dillo dillo......i saw the article in the LET about you & BRFC. Well done! It was an interesting read

Not far from the Boatyard you will find The Royal Oak at Riley Green. They serve a fine pint of Thwaites as well.
I have frequented the Royal Oak on a couple of occasions & yes they do serve a most excellent pint.
bluephil...Mild is slowly but surely dying outOnly two people drink mild regularly in my local...& they are both in their 70s. The manager of the pub says he orders only 1 small 30ltr keg 'every now & again'....just for his 2 regulars. Tiz a sad thing.

Recently had a pint (or two) of this stuff....
in the Boatyard pub, & i`ve got to say it`s one of the best beers i`ve ever tasted.
Unfortunately it`s a seasonal beer, so it only appears in the springtime (or so i was told), but if any of you beer (not lager) lovers get the chance to sample this wonderful beer.......DO IT!!

I`d rather have a team full of Paul Dickovs pulling on the blue & white halves than a team full of prima donnas.
Thankyou & good luck Paul!
Blackburn Rovers fans appreciate players who put in 100% effort.

I`ve said it before, Thierry Henry is the only player in the premier league (who doesn`t wear a Rovers shirt) i`d pay to see.
The guy is class & the prem is a better place with him in it.

Why doesn`t BRFCs have it`s own comp & present the club with the best kit/ideas?
