  1. just watch the media take no notice when united kick arsenal out off there stride on saturday.
  2. why do posts keep disappearing from this topic,i honestly think the price off season tickets will have more bearing on ticket sales than future signings,we are at the bottom off the money league now. all future signings will be either unknown quantities,or players at the end off there career.3million was wasted on savage, yet the virtual free signings off mokoena and nelsen has offset that. players that will put thousands on the gate, are rooney, beckham, henry etc all out of our range.we are stuck with this situation or until a fairygodmother turns up.
  3. no i'm only 43,thats the price i paid,lower tier outer wing
  4. here's your answer paul,my season tickets in the jack walker outer costs me £250 plus 2 juniors £140 a grand total off £390. to go in the family stand it would cost me £385 plus £140,a total off £525,£135 dearer.
  5. the 4k missing fans must be on the data base, why not employ a pr firm to quiz them why they do not come?
  6. from what i remenber off the championship side they all chose to leave us,none were sold with the exception off pearce,if i want to remenber them i will watch the video
  7. as you get older bellamy you get wiser, like they say a fool and his money are easily parted
  8. i will not be there that's for sure, anyone who has gone from sutton street to brockhall village does not need my tenner
  9. IN A THREAD THAT DISSAPPEARED in the black out last weekend,i said as a family club our pricing for the family stand is ludicrous. the family stand should be the cheapest part off the ground, not one off the dearest, the free tickets for the under 8's needs to re-appear.the fact that the family stand is half full every week proves this point.
  10. PNE SHEFF WED SOUTHEND FOR ME
  11. 3pts out off 15pts,we blooded derbyshire for 8 mins, sometimes i dispair.we had an ideal chance to play some young lads and the management stuck to thr tried and tested.we could have took 0pts and still finished 15th. the best game i have seen this season at ewood was wednesday night, the academy final, when will garner get his chance when he is 22yrs old
  12. Contemptible. The club should keep a record of who attends games such as this and the next time there's limited availability for ANY game, people who have made statements such as this (and haven't attended) shouldn't be allowed one. As Gav says, I fear for the future of the club. The average supporter has been spoilt, and like any spoilt brat demands more until it can't be satisfied. Then it just checks out and sulks. That's what a load of our supporters have done. They whine on about not being able to afford the ticket then spend more than that in the evening in the pub, discussing how great a supporter of "our" club they are, and what's gone wrong. Well, what's gone wrong is that the club has declining revenue because of our "great" support deserting in droves and can't afford to purchase the players the "supporters" demand. That in turn leads to a downward spiral and support of Burnley-like proportions in the Premiership!!! I don't know what the remedy is, but unlike others I DO want to berate others. the last time i talked to tony parkes.martin taylor was on loan at darlington, there game had been on tele the previous sunday. i said to parkes, tiny had a real good game on sunday. he replies, did you go? no it was on telly i reply oh,i do my shopping on a sunday, replies tp well thats the guy who saved us so many times, could not put a shopping trip off,to watch a future star so janice love, that's the reason why i won't be there not my second or 1st team are on telly tonight
  13. another bad day at the office for us,our season finished at cardiff, spuds 4 v 1 rovers
  14. well i ain't going on tuesday, shift work saves the day for me,but i would not attend anyway as i went to mr parkes testemonial first time round. one off sparkys better decisions this season was terminating tp's contract, the man is blue and white through and through, but there comes a time for everyone to move on. tp has made plenty off money from brfc,he ain't on skid row,###### happens in life every day
  15. will we beat this gate tomorrow,i thought with it being the last game a few may come out off the woodwork, really we should have made more off it as a club as this season has been a real turn around. THANK YOU MARK HUGHES
  16. just looked at the tst tables fifa must be making a mint, when all these teams do not qualify and take the admin fee off everyone
  17. we have two games to go and will be very lucky to take more than 3 pts from them, last year we made great pre season signings,a dwarf and matteo, plus some spanish waiter.the transfer fund will already be sorted, regardless off position we finish in.our only hope is souey coming in for some off the dross he left us with. when season ticket sales hit a alltime low, posters will be moaning about not having money to spend in the transfer market,we need to give the fans hope, play some young uns,see some light at the end off the tunnel,a debut or two on saturday and the return off andy cole might give us a 18k gate
  18. surely youth is worth a go,we have 2 bloody poor full backs imo, given a young lad a go is not to great a risk, giving one off the young forwards is not too much off a risk,or do we not want too pay great harwood the add on clause for derbyshire?if we had 9pts out off 9pts this we can finish so high up the league might wear on me,but we have averaged just over a point a game this season.we can only go up 2 places now and down 3 if we gain or other teams gain maximum points, this has to be the time to play the YOUNG GUNS
  19. 2 points out off 9pts,is not a great return we should be playing the youngsters
  20. certianly did 2 x england tst5
  21. does anyone know if england tickets will be available in the 2nd ballot
  22. if we go to win wba 0 v 3 rovers if sparky does the old mate routine wba 1 v 0 rovers
  23. well i'd give taylor the left back a go,as this is a problem position.and i think barker deserves a go,even derbyshire or young garner.you lot are worse than hansen[you win nowt with kids].you talk like we are going to win 12pts out off our next 4 games,we will get 4pts because thats how the season has panned out
  24. its like going over the old song,if we finish 12th this season we have excelled, surely given these youngsters a game is worth the risk-if a young starlet shows he can hack it in the premier we will save a fortune in the transfer market. i agree tomorrow we must play our best 11,out off debt to the teams in the relagation mire, but that leaves 3 fixtures too blood the youngsters.i for one know what lily, reid, matteo, mgp, stead, neill, emmerton can do,so does hughesy
  25. disagree mr hopkirk, after the dross served up on saturday a debut or two by a couple off young lads would have least give the fans something to talk about.
