Tugay worked so hard today.Our attack ran all night.Gresko was average but it seems he was put there for a defensive job.Emerton Id say was useless today,he gets the ball runs well then either ruins the cross or loses the ball halfway or runs out of options.

At the end,Arsenal wasnt all that,its just that they had more quality all around.We didnt have one player on the pitch who could make a difference like their players.Almost all workmanlike players.

I hope MGP can spark something.

When we win with 4 central midfielders,no one complains and Souness is a genius for lining up four of the same to close down opposition.But today in a match where we were the better team for quite long periods,but lost over the most blatant of mistakes from the referee and two other poor defensive mistakes,it was bad.

After scoring England just sat back and defended with two banks of four.

Just clearing the ball forwards with no ambtion whatsoever.

Fine England played tactical football and tactically it was strong,but the fact that you sit back and defend non-stop for 45 minutes trying to prevent the other team score means you are liable to deserve a loss.
