  1. Yes he will. And deservedly so.. Nonda's had a few matches not worth remembering, and after watching Dickov and Kuqi for a season or so we're used to hardworking strikers with little skill. Come on, give the man some time to adjust - he's used to very different leagues in France and Italy, and has been injured a lot. He's not useless, but has had a tough time adjusting - whether that's his own fault or partly someone else's is another discussion..

  2. 1st chance iv had to get on here since last week and after his goal celebration there is only one word for Lucas Neill and it Rhymes with Banker!!

Sell him on the 1st of Jan. Bye bye big head!

You just contradicted yourself, big head doesn't rhyme with banker. Neither does "best defender right-left-central in the league behind Gallas", so I'll just have to disagree with you.

  3. It's good to finally see some sensible and pleasant supporters of other clubs on this board. Good luck with the rest of the season, and more importantly - the next season. Establish yourselves as a 10-12th placed team and you should be happy, you will then get your chance to climb up towards Europe.

As for us.. I am fully confident we've got good enough players to end up where we ended last season, we just have to get that run going. And if possible, give McCarthy the strike partner he deserves..

To add to that - I've now fully understood what a great signing David Bentley was. Yes he can be erratic at times, but he's still very young, and the crossing, shooting and overall techniqual abilities are top top stuff. Keep it up, David, and you'll be an England international in a few years.

  4. I actually agree with Theno, even though I've been wandering from one side to the other for a few weeks regarding Lucas. I think it's sad that people take exception to his little "word" with the fans last night, he shouldn't have done it though. If it was up to me, I would give him a good applause in the next match, at least he would know we didn't all want him to leave. He's a good player who's done very well for our club - and as theno and others mention - at least we've known for a while we're going to have to replace him.

Good luck for Rovers, I hope we get decent dosh for you if you leave. If he leaves, he'll just be another opponent though..

  5. Youve obviosley not seen much then have you, trust me he was on par with MGP in the the half dozen or so game ive seen him in, Lost his pace, dosent track back, dosent score many sound familiar ( apart from the tracking back)

Doesn't track back, doesn't score, looks uninterested - as if he was playing for the only club willing to pay enough at the time of the transfer? Would take him back in a flash, I don't see how much worse he can become in three months.
