Come on, LUFC, give us the answer!
-
No. But if we had Kuqi on the bench, he would've made a much bigger impression than almost any of our strikers. I'm not saying it wasn't a good deal, £2,5m is a hell of a lot for a striker with his qualities - but I still think he's one of many good signings made by Mark Hughes.
Not to mention his goal celebrations.

PrestonMMuM and Phillipl are just idiots who only like taking the p*ss out of people
Spot on! Mum and Philip are the worst in that department. Seriously mate, you've started a rumour about you taking our manager - with no real sources to back it up with. In addition, Sparky has played for Everton and Manchester United in his playing career - oh yeah, and Chelsea. I doubt Liverpool would be his first choice club, with an ageing SAF it would also mean taking a step back from the Manchester United que.
As mentioned above, take the Aussie and leave us alone.

You kinda miss the guy too, that's the crazy part..

When is the draw?

Early team news anyone?

Obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse
Fine, Theno, I'll bite. It makes absolutely no sense to me, but since you've used it in two posts today I'm sure it's a fitting expression.
As for Larsson, he'll probably score a few, he's an intelligent striker. He'll be an even richer striker too, after this loan spell..

Chavchenko? Never heard of him, is he new?
-
Have no idea, but John Williams seems like a genuinely nice and qualified man.
I take it you are implying that the club has appointed these for their surnames..?

From a distance, and without having 50 years of matches to choose from, the second Celtic result sprung to mind when I saw the thread. We had a team capable of doing really well in Europe, especially through the qualities of Duff, Cole and Dunn, and it was a huge disappointment after a good first leg.
I'm sure there is plenty of more important results to change - a lot of them already mentioned.. but as said, this is the result that sticks out for me.
Forgot the Liverpool game last season, bloody awful. Birmingham the week after, and we were out of the 4th spot challenger group. Needless to say, that made a major difference..

Just out of interest, will we be adviced to stay in Rotterdam if we're drawn against Ajax in two weeks time?

I wrote about six months (or so) ago that I thought Rooney had become a decent role-model - after thinking he was a total chav at the time he signed for Manure. He was being criticised in the media, but stood up and changed his attitude both on and off the pitch.
I think he's regressed a bit the last few months though, coincidentally from when the media started to treat him better. Just a feeling I've got, it might be the other way around for all I know..
edit: The clip where Rio "Ashton wannabe" Ferdinand tricks him during the World Cup shows a different side of him though, I think it's on Youtube. He seems like a shy guy..

Agree with Scotty on this one, he's by far the best option (even though Mickey Gray has had a few good games now) and should therefore play when available. Not only am I sad to see him leave, because he's one of the better fullbacks in the league, but he's also one of the few Rovers who's been here for quite some time. Oh well, off to Newc. relegation struggle or Chelsea/Liverpool bench - give us a million or three and we'll let him go.
-
Was that aimed for me, Shev?
Anyway, with the form MGP has showed he's bound to be slated - but he's not doing anything wrong by calling for a Beckham move.
-
Great! I'm sure the coaching staff will give him time though, I hope they wait until February or March if needed - I don't care - I just want him back to full fitness.
-
Don't see anything wrong with what he's saying..
-
Nancy at home to Feyenoord and Wisla at home to Basel tonight - two draws would be good.
-
Both Drenthe and Greene looked good to me, the latter had a fantastic dummy on one of our strikers.. Tiendalli is supposed to be quite talented too!
-
This is no time to stop, Bob, keep them coming!
As for Christmas, you're a month early
-
I'm guessing Peter Harrison makes these rumours resurface, FLB..
-
Don't see Chelsea going for him at all, but they are sending Sheva on loan.. so who knows!
-
We're also being linked with a 22 year old Czech midfielder, who is wanted by Bayern Münich, HSV, Rosenborg (pick the odd one out ) and Everton amongst others. He's supposed to be valued around three million Euros, which I am sure some of the Amsterdam travellers on here can change to £.. about £2,2m?
Tomas Sivak, I believe his name is, link is on skysports.

Just watched the highlights now, weren't able to watch the game due to being at work. Nice goal by Nonda, and especially the attack ending with Emerton passing to the goalkeeper looked very good. I'm glad to see Bentley allegedly coping with the central midfield role, he's got all the attacking qualities to fit in there.
Which gives another question, is the right midfield spot covered sufficiently? Obviously we'll need to sign midfielders in January, but maybe the right wing is the place to strengthen instead?
Dan: I think it's interesting you're using the expression "fancy dan"
