When I first heard this story on the radio I thought JDT had really gone off the rails since his departure.

Picture the scene.

It's late on in a game you need to win. Your main striker is not only not much of a goal threat but he's also playing poorly. 

You look across the bench and see a fourth division German striker grinning at you... desperate to get on.

You have an idea. Let's put the American lad we signed on a permanent deal on transfer deadline day. Then you remember that we cancelled the deal so we could get him on loan instead. Then you remember we forgot how to complete a transfer. Again.

Scott Wharton has been sensational 

Koumetio feels like we are playing Chris Samba at left back.

Trying to look at the positives.

Hughes took over a failing side and had to make us ugly and hard to beat at first before he got his own players in and put his own stamp on the side.

Only difference is that he was always going to get backed by the owners.

I'm going to watch some paint drying after this.

Liven my evening up a bit.

I thought Wharton and Garrett were poor for the second goal from the original open play not getting closer and tighten to Frokjaer-Jensen. On the second goal, Hedges should clear it. Pears would have save it without the touch on the ball from Hedges 

Second half, It was both teams not wanting to take a risk to win the game but happy with a point. 

I thought Brittain and Hedges did very well as wing backs and we stop their main danger man in Liam Millar from impacting the game. Hyam and McFaz were good at the back. Gallagher and Szmodics worked their socks off up front. Thought Wharton was poor and Garrett was also poor and very poor positional for the first half 

I thought overall we were much better defensively from open play and more solid and organised. Like I said in the Eustace's thread he is trying to make hard to beat and much better defensively organised like Mark Hughes did when he took over. It is about picking points up and staying up. Eustace and his staff need to sort our defending from Set Pieces cos we need to better and I would be focusing on this in training this week. 

The fans was fantastic yesterday and It was pleasure to be there watching myself. The players and Eustace came over the fans at the end of the game and properly saluted the fans who have made the effort of going and paying £30 pounds to watch it and back the team from start to finish. 

Overall, it's away point and another point on the board.

The last time I felt like that - was when we were about 33/1 to win at Old Trafford under Steve Kean.

We won 3-2 and I think it was the longest odds any Premier League side had been and actually won a match at the time.

I've read some pretty ridiculous posts on here over the years....but this right up there. 

I've made my 10 year old watch out last two away games.

Contemplating taking him on Saturday but don't want to put him off Rovers for life.
