It's not that outlandish, why would he expect that to be paid BEFORE the Club were? They'd only have to agree the payment terms in principle and then pay him as and when the money came in.
Anything like that should be clearly written into the contract. Ie. If we only get the money in 6 instalments for example - he only gets the bonus in 6 instalments. Unfortunately, I've also no faith in the people writing our contracts.

Secondly, are we really supposed to believe that would expect to be paid before we are? And that this would hold the transfer up?
Absolutely this.

I don't want to see any midfielders inside any left forwards. I'll stick to the MILFs.
Not sure who the midfielder is but I'd put money on the left forward being Morten Gamst Pedersen.

Brannagan at oxford being looked at. However same situation as Mcguire. We don't have the wharton money....
I absolutely don't understand this at all.
If the deal is being completed - we know the money is coming in.
We just arrange the payment plan around when we do have the money.

If he's on ten grand a week the Ennis signing is a 2 million quid commitment for those who keep saying it doesn't matte he was just a cheap punt on a free.
Stupid ill thought out signing that reeks of agent opportunism again.
I'd be surprised if he's on £10k per week.

10. I thought Garrett had a go at least.

I genuinely don’t think it was a foul even without my blue and white spectacles 🤷♂️
Completely agree but they are usually given as a foul as you seemingly can't breathe near a keeper. I felt like Trafford played for it a bit as well, expecting to get the free-kick

Tbf Khan was exceptional there too. It was close between them. Believe Khan won the award, but being in a better team will help that.
Duff was the best LW in the world at that point too for me.
Agree. Definitely felt Friedel and Duff were the best in the world in their position at that time.

Not goals - but related to the clip of Bentley above.
He was at Spurs and "just wanted to go back to Blackburn"
Only just over 200 career appearances and played his last game at 28 - retiring aged 29 after 'falling out of love' with football.
He should be the poster boy of players who thought the grass was greener on the other side after leaving Rovers. Ash Phillips take note.
Absolutely superb player in his peak with us. Some of the goals in that compilation are absolutely outstanding.- 2

We are superb in the first 30 minutes of the second half - and woeful in the last 15. You wonder if we burn ourselves out.

How so?
They only scored 'cos we moronically gave them the ball. A very tired Rovers team were too good for them.

Wow, quite literally none of this makes any sense to me!
Obviously does to you train enthusiasts though.
I thought the exact same.
Must be our un-trained eyes.

That check list above though, he did pretty much all of that here too (although playing Dack wasn't a bad thing here).
I always thought he was trying to get a pay off here for years and we just weren't entertaining it.

Really bad signing that one from Mowbray. Paid way too much for him and he's never fit for long.
I suspect he'll walk for nothing as is our usual practice.
Was he one Mowbray wanted?
Word from inside the club is that Waggott couldn't believe we didn't see a massive upturn in season ticket sales following his signing. -
Seems Dack isn't overly popular....

When people were discussing Rovers lack of a striker at the start of the season....
If you'd have told me that 3 weeks before Christmas that Szmodics would have as many goals as Haaland - I'd have laughed in your face.

I quite like Garett too. Like others I don’t think he’s technical enough to sit deeper. The assist for Szmodics actually came from a mistake by Garrett. His second touch was a tackle, which he won, but on another day he might not have. The pass to Szmodics was weighted brilliantly though, although he did have an entire half to aim at!!
Agree with all that. Whilst probably an easy pass to make - the weight of it was absolutely spot on.

Jordan James is starting to look like the player I always thought he would be. He’s local to me and went to the same school as my daughter. One I wanted us to look at when he was breaking through. Regular for wales now and will be one to watch tomorrow.
Results tonight would mean 3 points takes us above PNE and on the brink of the play off spots.
Isn't he the one that we were linked with as a potential Adam Wharton replacement?

Best chance of staying up is potting him and bringing someone in who wants to grind it out, no chance old Vincent changes the style, far too big an ego

I don't think they necessarily have to be present to do the medical assessment these days.
