How is it possible we have just started the season with that sh!te defence? It was sh!te under Coyle, (apart from Bell).  It was sh!te in league one. It was sh!te when we got back in the championship and Tony blamed Raya and said defenders are coming. It was sh!te last season before lockdown. It was sh!te after lockdown. it is still sh!te today. And Tony refuses to panic, refuses to be bothered, refuses to sort it out. Therefore what hope is there? So depressing.

This dawning realisation is going to tip several EFL clubs and even the odd PL outfit into absolute despair financially before the window closes. For one thing, PL clubs declare their squad of 25 before the EFL Window closes so loan availabilities become much more visible.

Rovers keeping their budget to themselves could be in prime position to do some remarkably astute business in early October. A wily old campaigner like Warnock will be thinking thjis way up at Boro.

Can someone ask Mowbray why are we possibly going to start our season with 3 of the 4 man defence from the league 1 opener three years ago against Southend? Defence was crap then and still is now. What do Tony and Steve do on these late nights at Brockhall when they’re trying to recruit? It’s an absolute joke. A shambles. They couldn’t run a bath.

The Kipre link was cleverly orchestrated to  give the impression to supporters that we were being ambitious and serious about buying players. Hence the leak to Sharpe. It’s nonsense.
