And seriously, I know it has been said. What the fuck does Rothwell have to do to play
Yes, there were at least 3 situations where BB screwed up, and I'm certain JR would have had a trick to beat someone and make it happen.
Mowbray must see this, so I'm concerned why he's not getting on

I was there mate. They were out on their feet at 75 mins. Norwich fitness took over.
Nyambe should play higher up the pitch in some form. I'm convinced he can help the attack and we need a right back and a centre back.

Fitness and defensive mediocrity lost us the game. By God, we need a couple of good defenders and a fitness coach

I guarantee Williams will lose us the game

I'd rest Raya, give the other lad a go. I feel we can do better than Raya, and he's responsible for a lot of unease at the back. If Leutweiller isn't good enough then we need to get a good one in January.

Attacking MF according to his wiki. A box-to-box MF according to him. Nothing like Smallwood, although if we played with genuine central midfielders and not just two water-carriers then I'm sure he might we worth a look. Then again if we played like that we might concede even more goals. Tough balancing act.
Yes a proper midfielder more defensive than rothwell and better than smallwood....that's what I said.
Cheers

We already have Rothwell. Tony doesn’t value that kind of central midfielder.
Nah, he's more defensive minded than rothwell. Different player, more a good smallwood...

Is he available for loan ?
Everton's have made him available. I'd take Baines if not .
Also, I've banged on about this lad for a while, Ben Whiteman at Donny...he's on the verge of joining Kenny jackett at Pompey and they are virtually promoted and he knows a good player....I think hed come here, good feet, can score from midfield....Basically a central midfielder who can play. Tony should have a proper look.

Mason Holgate anyone? Versatile and competent

Armstrong up on his own would have been sufficient. Instead we carried on pushing forward and got caught out through errors from Raya, Nyambe and Bell.
I don't think he can win here mate, gets bollocked on here for sitting back and inviting pressure and you're having a go for trying to batter them. We were strolling, so he was right to bring BB on and it was set up for him to get one.
However, we have a goalie that's been here a long time, and in my opinion we would never consider buying Raya if he was on the market. Too small, no good from crosses, kicking is very poor and not improving, he flaps, gets over excited and creates a sense of panic at times. Yes, he's a good shot stopper at times, but you expect a professional keeper to have good reflexes.....anything Raya has to think about he's not up to it.
He changed the whole mood of the game. I actually felt that many of the Brum players had given up with the weather etc, we were coasting.

If anyone was under any illusion that BB is ready to challenge Danny Graham then the last 25 mins of today’s game should have clarified that he isn’t..
Yes. I know a 15 year old who's better than brereton

It was after Graham went off we fell apart.
No, we fell apart when that pillock came running 20yds out of his goal like a headless chicken and handed them the impetus.
Needs dropping

He has been phenomenal this season. He's got to be in Leicesters match day squad at a minimum next season
He needs to brush up on when his team are defending

I've always wondered for such a big city why their support is very poor.
Yeah but they have Villa, West Brom, Wolves, Coventry and a couple of smaller clubs knocking about....not like Leeds with the area to themselves

ROVERS INTERESTED In Tom Eaves of Gillingham. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11737/11577121/rangers-tracking-gillingham-striker-tom-eaves-ahead-of-january-window
Saw him a lot when he was in the Notlob U23s down Leyland few years back. Average technical ability and not blessed with pace I think you need in the top two leagues

Southampton and Norwich?
Yes, so really to say that we should be higher is disingenuous, based on recent history . I’ve not gone further back than the premier leagues inception but I’d guess there’s only a handful in history

People talk about us being "a newly promoted side" and "overachieving" like we've spent the last 10 years in League 1 and are just finding our feet in the Championship. Most of this side were in the squad that narrowly slipped into League 1, briefly, on goal difference. Mostly because of Coyle's ineptness. We have loads of players with decent Championship experience and, apparently, the finances to compete in this League. So why shouldn't we be aiming for more than just bobbing around mid-table?
Theres only ever been 2 clubs that had 2 back to back promotions into the Premier League?

Disagree.
With the club's infrastructure, we should be PL.
To me, I would expect a top 8 finish this year and promotion next year.
Imagine your every post designed to wind up someone......you dont half come out with some cack mate. You know what you're doing too.....very sad

Mowbray has steadied the ship and deserves credit for that. However, IMV, he is a steady Eddie at best and has not got the managerial nous to get us back to the PL.
I think you are being a bit over the top here too soon. Mowbray's got a funny charisma about him, very honest, and Christ we've had some bullshitters, scoundrels and tosspots at our club recently. We are in touching distance of the play-offs without really playing that well, we definitely won't get relegated. Is that not enough progress for you mate? What's your beef with him? Or are you just arguing for sake of it.?
I think he can take us higher and I certainly dont want a change

The video's proved he headed it about three times. How many flick ons did he contribute for players to run on to down the middle ? How many times did he out muscle an opposing centre half under a high ball ? He got shunted out onto the wing for a reason. Same thing happened at Big Club apparently.
Not to mention a shocking performance at home v Notlob. I've not seen a worse forward/winger performance since...people have short memories and we should aim elsewhere....get Rudy back

I excuse him as he was a credit to himself today. Tried more than anyone last 10 to get us in he was fucked....walks past defenders and I cannot fathom why we dont put him up as an attacking player and get a proper rightback
