Mate, you got to watch it today. Just before half time, Smallwood lost composure and passed to Dack putting him into trouble right in front of TM. Evans been good today. Not his greatest supporter though.

I don’t think it’s that. It’s looking to improve on the players on show and it can be quite clear that Smallwood is performing below the other midfielders.

Palmer is dangerous when he runs direct. There were one or two points when he stopped for the fancy stuff and it slowed play down. Pace of game has slowed though

It may be early doors but Smallwood looks to be a shade below the levels shown. Clash of heads now involving Palmer.
