  1. Can't fault the playets relly anymore, more than half if them are played out of their natural position every week (inc. Leninhan! nor a cb)

the others are either just past it or not up to it at this level.

All poor managerial faults. Truely why we never signed an experienced championship cb during the summer we may never know! We pay way over the odds for inexperienced forwards(one of which struggles to get in the squad even when fit) but when it comes to defenders and centre midfielders Mowbray continually states he refuses to pay over the odds for players as a matter of principle! (although you could argue we paid well over the odds for Bell)

  2. Mowbray couldn't pick his nose and is about as tactically efficient as steve keans left testicle.

He even admits the day before games that he has no idea who his best 11 is!(or even his best match day squad it seems?

There's not enough pressure on the manager from above, and that Lacksadaisy mentality has fed into the players.

  3. What's so exciting about cunningham? He just seems like another mediocre championship squad player, which is fine if not getting relegated and possibly finishing  mid table again is this seasons only aim and objective

also we' already got 2 senior left backs (bell & williams) + young Hart who looks promising, Yet we still dont have a single senior natural CB in the squad!!!

  4. Dreary trucking me

Mulgrew leaving, fine he's no good at all as cb in this league and doesn't have the legs to play anywhere else.

letting him(and the few other cbs we've let go this summer) go without a good more tallented replacement is just poor idiocrcy and will lead to the end of the rd to the Mowbray reign.

  5. So we've started the season without a single natural senior centre back in the first team! (Mulgrew and lennihan are not natural cb's for me and tosin seriously lacks experience playing first team football as a cb) and yet were just still being linked to attacking player wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all due respect, surely Mowbray falls into that category anyway. We're not talking about the possibility of replacing Kenny Dalglish are we?

Thats just it, I think in the long run after the initial excitement of a new manager has gone we'd likely just find we've just swapped like for like, I think of the current list of available managers theres only really Hughes that id be excited about, but that's mainly just because im a sentimental idiot :)  If not Hughes then i think its about time we started looking at continental managers   (slavisa jokanovic proven winner in the championship or Daniel Stendel promising manager plays very pressing football??)

Our form since November suggests that if he gets it wrong - and in the last two windows he 100% has - we are very likely to either be relegated or face a huge battle to stay up next season. Is it worth risking our Championship future because the guy got us to finish 2nd in League 1? Not for me. That's too big of a gamble and it ignores everything in Mowbray's history, which suggests he can't his teams out of these types of spirals.

I agree but changing the manager(and coaching staff) again is as big of a gamble, especially when you look at the list of possible replacements(just the usual has beens, never gonna bees and journeymen managers)

  8. The 'Jack Rodwell Experiment' this season has been a disaster for Mowbray and letting our 1 and only natural senior CB leave without giving him a chance was just obscene, Mowbrays tactics, decision making and transfers(and general verbal diarrhea) have all been awful this year, That said i do think that he has done enough to warrant one more summer transfer window to see if he can turn things around.

  9. sorry if this has been covered already but do we know if we are contractually obliged to complete the deal for brereton in january, is there not a chance that we could just say thanks but no thanks now?

it does(and did to me) seem ridiculous to spend so much on such an unknown quantity when we could probably have spent less for a player that's already proven at this level OR we could have just left the money in the transfer kitty and waited until Jan to spend it if He's only going to be a bit part player, Nuttall currently offers more on the pitch than Brereton seems to
