  1. The same Danny Graham who at Brentford vowed to stay! Same DG who despite being attempted to be offloaded last summer in fact stayed.

im inclined to think we’ve offered him a significantly below par money deal and he’s had something sensible not great at Bolton offered and still lower than his wage last year but feels respected.

'upto 5 new players permanently'.  They will all need to be good enough to go straight into the first team.

We need 5 first framers though I’m sure they’re going to be cheaply done, we need quality not quantity this summer.

Villa, Derby, Fulham our the way, this is a good chance to battle the Sheff Utds for 6th.

  3. Would take McKenna from Aberdeen any day of the week.

Similary I’d take a look at Cedric Kipre who’s come on leaps and bounds at Motherwell. Cadden another Well prospect.

Would be looking at Kamberi on loan at Hibs, he looks a potential gem at 21 as does Harry Cochrane at 16, a Scottish Dele Alli.

  4. After seeing Kamara at Fulham, Kodjia at Villa and Bristol and Dhediou at Bristol this year it's apparent those who score in French league two are capable of stepping up.

This lad at Nimes Umut Bozok has twenty four goals this yeAr, some taken nicely, and he's twenty one. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohg6yjOfZNs

Additionally I'd like Sidy Sarr, six foot five and a tough tackler in the middle. He's 21 and also a great eye for goal, covers the pitch like a Yaya Toure.

Ours the pair for a few million, plenty of value and scope to develop and sell on.

would also ask Bournemouth for Lys Mousset on loan if he can't break into their 11.

Number of tweets he drops towards Rovers i'd say he's desperate to come back.

Mind you he's probably just desperate for a club full stop !

Tony Watt with a weight programme and off the booze, wouldn’t be bad back up on a six month contract (motivation purposes). Six months is Xmas and if we are top ten then venkys May open the purse strings for better or it gives time for Watt to make an impressive few appearances.

Bar Sammy and Graham we are looking light up top.

Pilkington has the same agent as Graham, Benno, Travis and Bell. Could be about to take over the squad. Harry Kane is on their books too. Cheeky bid???

Sam and Curtis had a similar partnership. Usually makes it easier to negotiate when dealing with a show string budget as same agent will by into it more

Fifa? Blimey havent played the game in years. Being 33 years old, I'm abit too old for playing computer games and spent my spare time watching Rovers and football plus spending time with my missus, kids, family and friends.

I would be happy with Lenihan and Mulgrew as the back 2 or part back 3. We didnt go dowm cos of those 2 but of a certain manager and his crap tactics.

I would look at Liam Linsday from Barnsley. Good centre back who fits Mowbray comments the age bracket he looking at

    Fair enough. Thanks for that.

Can you explain what you like so much about him?

Shame but good luck to him if he gets his move.

Liam Lindsay is a cracking shout, player of the year at Barnsley since signing from Partick last summer, but did you not say after the Motherwell game to @Dryhorse you didn’t want any SPL/Scottish players?

If there was a clear method in transfer policy then I think it would take the most unreasoned of posters (JAL) to complain. Signing young players with quality potential and, more important in todays game, potential resale value is a clever way to run a football club. Bowyer did it quite well, despite making a lot of misses in the process.

Signing dross like Brown or Greer is what got peoples backs up. There was clearly no set in stone transfer policy in our relegation season - simply, "get what you can".

We have had success in the Bundesliga before and certainly players from that league, both 1st and 2nd, are similar in quality than in the UK. Remarkably they are all cheaper too which is why more astute managers are starting to look there for their signings.

Bang on both you and Neal. I still remember Sebastian Pelzer rocking up with Johansson!

Am I right in thinking Pardew has only just finished being paid off by Newcastle because of his weird 5yr contract?

Wrong I’d imagine he was on 250k a year at Newcastle for 8 years. Palace paid 2 million when they poached him, amazingly the only job bar reading early in his career he’s not been sacked from.

Bet he’s rolling in it from Palace and WBA though.

I wonder if Mowbray will look at Hoilett from Cardiff. Out of contract this summer I believe.

Him and Andreas Bjelland the danish centre half from Brentford are both out of contract.

would also look at Sidy Sarr and Marco Hoger (F.C. koln just got relegated, excellent box to box player like Jermaine Jones and a spare right back.

Sidy Sarr is like a young mo Diame 6ft 6.

Would also look at Onuachu from F.C. Midjelland if Brentford don’t get in their first, 6ft 7 target man.

The Rovers website said Phil Jones was a defender but didnt stop Sam Allardyce and Steve Kean playing him in centre midfield did I? ?

Ive seen him play in centre midfield for the under 23's under Johnson a few times. He has all the attritubes to be very good centre midfielder.

Insult me all you want Stuart, not bother one bit me. I wont lower myself to that level anymore

From what I’ve seen of Travis he won’t make it at any position professionally. Too slow mentally, great engine but that’s it.
