May only be one but it's a heck of a signing. Palmer is just the kind of signing we need, he can play across that attacking 3 behind the striker all to great effect and has plenty of pace. Really impressed. Even more so with it being a season long loan rather than the 6months previously suggested. Imo he is a promotion callibre signing. We need a couple more like it.

    Izzy Brown next please!!!!

Amazing they can bid anything at all with their financial situation.

I know something. I just want quality. Kasey Palmer is exactly that. He’s MUCH better than Chapman, Armstrong, Wildschut, Edwards or any others that have been linked and may or may not have gone anywhere else...so whether he plays 20 or 200 games for us he’s an improvement on what we have.

    I’m happy with that.

Good he’s here till Xmas. If he does well I’d imagine we will extend if not a wage less at Xmas. I imagine Chelsea insisted on this to ensure he gets game time.

I never said he would be good for Rovers did I? I personally wouldn’t sign him at 32 either, just saying he did quite well last season. Calm down!

    No my apologies TG.

Personally I like Sharp as a person footballer the way he bounced back from his tragedy was quite something.

Armstrong has apparently been transfer listed by Newcastle United. They are listening to offers.

Since two weeks ago using the touts in the press to listen for offers for 3million. Just sold Mbemba for 8 and still offering instalments on players, suggests NUFC are trying to rake as much upfront cash in as poss. Wonder if Ashley has a buyer?

Armstrong is average at best poor record at this level no more than 1.5 million tops.

Scored 13 league goals in the Championship last season. Not saying that’s amazing but still not bad.

Sheff Utd just upgraded him after a meh season. You think he wouldn’t be that bad for Rovers at 32. I’m sure he enjoyed his best ever season at championship which in the grand scheme is average but no way is he good enough Tormund!

On the flip side, what business Stoke have done. Imagine we signed Tom Ince, McLean and Afobe. 3 players in the exact positions we need filling. They cost a combined 30 million though, just to put things in perspective...

I’d stop supporting us if we signed a scumbag like McClean. Adobe and Ince capable at this level but struggle stepping up.

I like up front or Wide. Has pace and as @roversfan99 pointed his goals against MK Dons sum up how we should play him in most goals.

I understand that point but I feel they like Mowbray and will back him if it the right deal.

Have you learnt nothing under these Indians? Since when did they cash wise last back any manager?

    What a Kent!

    Get behind the boys.

All we need is to be is patient, keep the faith in Mowbray. All about the personalities and getting the right types in early for Austria pre season. Plenty of time like 3 weeks, all about trusting Mowbray you know. YAWN
