We had a very short period where we had a manager who would question the status quo. Publicly call out false promises and try to hold those responsible to account.

Those on the gravy train (almost everyone high up at Rovers), are obviously delighted with the current predicament of yes man with no talent, skill, CV, evidence of success, evidence of decent football, evidence of wanting to know our town, region or club churning away shit performances along as it keeps all those guys out the limelight.

Of course Waggott prefers this than JDT mocking his lies about our coach. Of course the shadow man prefers this to JDT saying budgets have been cut and he was fed lies etc.

Just all topping up their pensions with no shits given to Rovers.
When we beat Leeds Eustsces celebrations were straight to the box being him (lots of managers do that). If anyone cared for the club they’d be to fans / players / staff not to your boss.

Waggott has failed across all platforms this season except player sales. There is no passion left in the Blackburn Board room with no one to fight what's best for the club. Sadly we all love a club where mistakes are accepted and not learned from

Markanday seems to be thriving under JE

JE is a good one on one manager which this squad needed. Manager and  assistant barking orders all game. Nice to see the set piece coach been working hard, Brilliant few examples yesterday to create the space. Stabalise championship status now and we will see a different team come August

  3. Where to start. Defence got split multiple times with simple ball down the middle, centre halfs didn't decide once between them and neither anticipated. Struggled to win second balls in all areas of the pitch, Need 2 centre mids trying to mop up the mess, Specially when playing hoof ball. He's tried changing systems and I still can't see what Eustace is trying to achieve. It's like basic Non league tactics

  4. Thought I would let the dust settle before posting. Manager didn't change much from the game against Newcastle. Can't blame him after that showing. It didn't pay off and Swansea clinical taking there chances. One positive I can take from that game was Eustace. Noticed the weakness and changed things up, changed shape,in game management we are not used to but He tried.

  5. Showed great fight to get back on level terms after going one down. Not the best football on the eye but we are frustrating teams. Best of all it's nice to see an actual corner get played in, All 3 centre halfs plus Gally can head the ball and cause teams serious problems. Gally has had a run of games through the middle and is starting too look like a decent 9, 2  headers saved by opposition goalie. He looks hungry

Yes, the real culprit in all this

He's just left us completely screwed. Will be hard for the team to find the right balance between JDT ball and what Eustace wants. He's only had 2 sessions with the team so far so I doubt he's done much bar stop  us overloading our attacks and be more compact. We are used to creating more chances, But I have not seen us left in a 2v1 or defence left in firing line so far. There has been small signs of improvement

A very tricky next few fixtures means we are likely to get dragged nearer to the mire so i'ts a valuable point today even though in essence it's another two blown.

Usual flaws exposed again but the second half resilience was good to see and gives them a bit of belief and something to build on.

Fleck another stupid signing given his recent history, the DoF needs to pull his finger out and get Travis back right now, Garret is Lowe mk2 and needs to go away and learn in a lge below for a bit.

The two Sams up front though we could be on to something there.

Gally the deeper of the 2 for large parts of the game and looked a decent pairing. Our squad is really hard to find a balance in my opinion. I like 3 in the middle as our better performances have come when doing so. But as of late 3 centre half looks the way forward as we have more depth there than in midfield

  8. After going two nil up and going in at half time at 2-2 I feared the worst. Preston definitely had the momentum and we showed grit and determination to see the point out. Looked tough to play against second half despite Preston having the midfield to themselves. That's where we lost the battle was in the midfield. Too many big holes there and it is worrying.

It doesn't make sense, because he played them plenty when they were fit. But I already pointed that out. The 'up to speed' thing was for new players. Both (wanting players to be fully fit, and time for new signings to bed in) are hardly JDT things anyway, most managers are like that. Although Mowbray would sometimes rush his faves back and get them injured again prematurely, good times.

JDT uses the U21s to get them up to speed. Hedges hasn't featured. Read the pre match comments.Brittain back early. Everyone surprised Hedges and Brittain were involved.JDT expected too much in terms of how fit the players should be Each to there own opinion I guess

That doesn't make any sense, both players featured a fair bit under JDT.  They just needed to be fit, something both players have had issues with.

Of course it makes sense. If they were not fit enough to press and play to the tempo JDT wanted he wouldn't of picked them. Adapting to a different style which JDT wouldn't do has enabled them to come in. JDT favourite saying was be patient and let them get up to speed

Sentiments absolutely agreed with,  let's support the manager and players (let's also give fair stick when it's deserved). We all want to get behind the team and will.

The bit I've highlighted in bold is where we disagree. Not for me.

Blackburn Rovers is far more than that. It's supposed to be the centre and pride of a town, a uniting of a community. When you have  people whove been going 60-70 years feeling disconnected and ignored, what goes on the pitch to me is importanr but secondary and what we see also reflects the way the club is run.

I can see where my mistake is in the wording And have put it across the wrong way. It was more to the point of the transfer window is now closed. Nothing else can be done for now. Let's get the results on the pitch to keep our championship status. Off the pitch is a different story. We all know where the issues are. But could become worse if results carry on the same way

Celebrate and be positive all you wont about the great achievement of 'keeping our Championship status'..your prerogative.

I'll vocally display my displeasure and anger at even being anywhere near this awful situation. My expectations for our Club are obviously set higher than many.

I can't argue with that statement. We all want the same end goal.

'On the Pitch is what matters'

See the bigger picture maybe 🤔...have you got an ounce of protest in you while our Club is sinking?

I'm very much aware what is happening. But maybe I shouldn't be positive about the rest of the season and keeping our championship status. I should just be like you and assume that when someone is trying to be positive they are not educated enough to know what's really happening and throw a little dig. I have no power to input what goes on at management level. So the best I can do is back the 11 on the pitch

  14. Looking forward to today's game. Plenty of off field rumours going on bringing a toxic debate between fans. The window is over with, Now all that matters is the squad we've got. Let's get behind the players and manager because on the pitch is what matters. You pay good money week in week out to support Rovers and the emotions we get will never change. 3 points #coyb
