One thing that really surprised me last night was the lack of ball over the top particularly after Szmodics scored from exactly one of these. Hull were playing a really high line probably to condense play I guess in an attempt to stop us passing. I really expected lots of this type of pass in the second half but we just didn't do it. There were several occasions when Telalovic made a run in behind but he just wasn't spotted.
Everything about him was spot on for me.(Telalovic )Threw himself at everything, If it wasn't for a little bit of bad luck he could of ended up with 2 yesterday. In the right areas of the pitch, Held the ball and made the right passes, Drawing fouls, being a complete nuisance. Positive to see and in my opinion Should not be dropped for next game

It's clear to see the weaknesses are down the channels. Wether you agree or not, The majority of our wins have come this season is when Brittain has not been playing RB. He needs dropping or replacing ASAP. I did state at the beginning of the season he and JRC would have a massive part to play this season. And boy was I right, Not in the way I expected though.......

I never rated Olsson but he seems a class above what we have now. He left a decade ago too.
What is it with fullbacks since Venkys turned up?
Nyambe was decent. Didn't have the best end product. But knew when to go and not to go

Telalovic
Siggy. Sammi. Brittain
Pickering. Markanday
Tronstadt. Garrett
Hyam. Hill
Wahlstedt
This is how the game was played, No spine in the team whatsoever. And his after match comments is baffling. Making himself look clueless

Back 4 terrible tonight. First two goals down to full backs being nowhere. We got back into the game until the sending off. Yes it was a soft one but where did Hyam commit the foul? He got dragged out wide covering pickering's ass again. Wish we had reporters who have the balls to ask JDT why he insists on using these tactics when they clearly aren't working. He's just given a free ride

he`s a defensive liability imo,far better going forwards
When himself and JRC are in the same channel it works. Markanday doing his defensive duties tonight. He needs to find the right balance. He needs to watch a few Emerton vids

Thinking the same, Garrett is always on a tightrope
Brittain has been saved at least 2-3 times by Markanday that first half. He's a fullback and should stick to it. His decision making going forward is terrible

Telalovic looking like a proper number 9. Good half from the lad, challenging everything

Both goals down the channels again, Pickering and Brittain nowhere to be seen. Moving full backs into midfield is killing us

Hearing we've now sold 1,600 tickets.
Massive effort by all those involved, I'm feeling positive that we get a good response from the team tonight

With the players on the bench today, how would you have changed things, and why would that have made a difference? As frustrated as I am I find it hard to look past a bare bones, exhausted squad.
It's the way we lost, No fight, No heart, players gave in. Arguing with each other, didn't even speak to each other the last ten minutes. Embarrassing, They did not look like themselves exhausted or not. Looked like a team who's gave up on the manager.

When did we last sign a player that you thought - “ Bloody helll, he’s a handful, Imwouldn’t fancy my chances going up against him ! “ ?
Been a long time 🤣 but I watched Sorba today and thought to myself where has this performance come from. He loved every minute he played today

Quoting me clearly. He's not up to it. When the going gets tough, we fold. Clear to see. He cannot change a game, doesn't have the nous, look at our record when we go behind. Horrendous.
We will have to wait and see, All eyes are on him, I had to watch via the Hudds channel and they mentioned JDTs presence a few times saying his body language does not look good

The problem is that the owners have fucked us. If we don't go to games the club doesn't make money so the club doesn't invest. The owners know this too.
The team has been stripped by the season and I don't think it can be done any further. We have all spoke in depth about this, sad to say but until young Wharton is moved on we will be stuck in this predicament. The little cash we had has been spent on two players who are not ready. It's a massive risk

In other news, spoke to Bucko earlier and he says he's out for 40 days. We need all the help we can get, so hopefully he's recalled

I don't think I can watch the game again and put myself through that suffering.so going to base my comment on what I saw first time round. Hudds absolutely destroyed our fullbacks and took opportunity to attack the space they left behind. Wether that's down to JDTs tactics or bad decision making from the player it's simply not good enough. Plenty of times we were left chasing back, specially down Brittains side. Is JDT to stubborn to change tactics because it looks as though our system has been worked out. We just don't look as strong down the flanks with certain players out. I would like to hear other people's opinions but since Moran and Siggy have come in I feel these are the areas which is costing us

Another game where the bench has won the points. Very frustrating as we coped until the Hyam change. Injured players can't come back soon enough

Are people really surprised by today's showing. Lucky to win our last game, players struggled to walk off the pitch. One change today from last games lineup and there legs were gone. Wether JDT had no choice we will never know, They need all the rest and help they can get

Perfect tactics from Southampton today, Hit a tiring side straight from the off. Legs were gone after 20 minutes and things went downhill quickly. Hope this doesn't damage the players mentality over this busy period
-
Massive ,3 points won there by pure grit and determination. Squad running on empty. A good few days off is needed before this Christmas period, Enjoy the win as that was not an easy watch.

Nearly got caught out a few times playing out from the back, But we competed and looked the better team for large parts of the game. Leeds just more clinical and have that little extra quality. A lot of positives to take from today's game with Tronstadt being one. The better quality of opposition the better he looks. They worked there socks off and on a different day we could of got a result. No doubt another apology from the Refs association as that handball was a clear penalty. No excuse, ref perfectly positioned and bottled it. We move on COYB

Another nose bleed trying to break the playoff spots. We are still in a good position despite a thin squad. Response needed next game
-
If we are around the play off spots come January they need to find a way to back him. If not there's no lessons being learnt

The more I watch Leonard the more he reminds me of Rhodes,Got that little bit of everything. If he finds half of Rhodes finishing ability he will be some player

Target man who could hold the ball up till the calvary catches up. Better way to build up an attack instead of overloading the wings and being caught out. In the last 3 games we have seen Travis and Tronstadt making last ditch tackles with the rest of the defence 30 yards away. The squad is more than capable I agree.
