Rovers have to lower the prices this coming season with the new TV deal coming which the EFL wanted more money from TV revenue. Games will be moved to a number of different kick offs from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Rovers should charged £199 for Riverside, £249 for BBE and lower JW, £280 for JW upper wing and £330 for JW upper centre

I think Rovers also need to look at match day prices policy where you need to make attractive for walk on fans to attend also. £10 for midweek games, £15 to £20 for weekend games

I hope Rovers actually serious think about this cos some people won't be attend to every game due to work or family commitments was kick offs changing.

absolutely the right thing to do,thats why it won`t happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!never known swag to do anything of use or for the good of the club,no reason to think it will change

Either Eustace doesn't rate him, or he just isn't good enough.

He's played less than 20mins since Eustace took over. He's not been subbed on or hasn't even made the squad for 10 of the 14 league games since JE took over.

He makes the bench, probably due to the lack of numbers available in the squad.

Honestly, I just think the answer is, he isn't good enough, unfortunately.

he`s a non league player and it shows, thats not his fault and i feel sorry him, massive gap between the german regional league and the championship in england, well know for it`s competetiveness and attrition,im`e old enough to remember paul mckinnon,he came from non league sutton and was completely out of his depth,a la telalovic

I think most people are in agreement with what's needed by and large. Here's my take:

    In Goal: Ideal

Neither keeper is really fit to be a Championship keeper. Pears is poor and might be a league 1 keeper. Wally makes Pears look like Buffon and Kahn rolled into one which is spectacularly impressive in a perverse way given how poor Pears is. Both need shipping out.

    The Reality

Our motto is if it’s broke, don't fix it. Fully expect both keepers to continue on the books costing us with howlers.

    Defence: Ideal

Full backs are weak imo. I really don't rate Britain - very weak defensively and doesn't offer enough going forwards. Pickering I think is an ok, a steady-Eddie, but we could do better. Alarmingly there's little to no cover for either position, especially at LB. A new RB is imperative to me, as is cover for Pickering. I'd ideally like an upgrade, but realistically eve under a fully functioning club that would probably have to wait till summer.

Centre back is similar. A better class physical defender I think would really boost our defence. Wharton and Hyam are both fair weather players, who if paired with someone stronger I think would perform better. Again in a summer with a lot to do though, with Carter also on the books, this would not be a priority area but a long term aim.

    The Reality:

We don't believe in filling all positions much less having cover so expect nothing there. Saint Hyam is guaranteed his place even if he throws Pears and the ball into our net (not that Pears needs help on this) whilst mugging a granny. We have a lot of young players whose value could perhaps increase so no one will be brought in to disrupt this.

    Midfield: Ideal

I rather like a JRC, Travis, Trondstadt combo but feel a 4th is needed for when the inevitable injuries and suspensions hit. Someone reliable and steady who could fill out the squad, without necessarily having to be better than the other 3 or eating up too much budget. This would allow Garrett and other midfield prospects to get some much more beneficial time out on loan playing regularly and learning from their mistakes elsewhere.

    The Reality:

The club won’t care whether Travis is any good or not – the fact he’s on a relatively big wage means he’ll be shipped out. We’ll make sure the midfield is swamped with ineffective cover from our youth. And if we don’t have enough youth of our own to do this, we’ll loan in some ineffectual ones from elsewhere, again.

    Forwards: Ideal

In the ideal world we capitalise on Sami’s fantastic form and sell him for a good fee and reinvest the proceeds. He won’t have another season like this one, and we desperately need funds for a massive squad overhaul so he probably needs to be sacrificed.

Dolan needs to be sold IF he doesn’t sign a new contract. I think he’s a useful player to have in the squad, but we can’t lose more assets for nothing. Gally needs to be sold regardless of whether he’s inclined to sign a new contract, the wages can be better spend. Telovic (sp?) needs shipping out too. ]

I think we were already a forward light so we need to bring in one more than we ship out. Ideally this would be two more, but time and funds are limited. In there would be a winger with some pace, and someone who’s physical and can unsettle defenders up front. Assuming Dolan re-signs that would mean 3 to 4 new attacking players.

    The reality:

Sami will be sold. 1% (I’m being optimistic) will be reinvested into the team and hailed as great reinvestment. Dolan and Gally will run down their contracts and join the alumni of Rovers players we should have got a fee for under Venkys. Any other forwards brought in – there might be one because Ennis went off the books – will be either a wildly overpromoted player from our academy or a substandard youth loaned from elsewhere.

agree with all that,in words of a more brusque tone,we be fooked

He will fit like a glove down at Brockhall then ! If he is that bad, why is he at Liverpool ?

came through their academy as a young lad, unfortunately he`s not turned out to be very good,it happens at every club, the big question is,why is he here,he`s blocking the way of some our own young players, atcheson and o`riordon a couple of examples, surely they`de be better on the bench than him,our recruitment is criminally shocking imo

ust excuses after excuses. There were 7k Sheff Wed fans. That it. How did they ever make it professional if they can't play in front one full stand of away fans. FFS

i have to agree,in the history of the great game, there has never been an example of the away fans influencing the game to such an extent that it changes the game, they don`t make you defend properly or score a goal

  6. unless they reduce season tickets prices to £200 (highly unlikely!!)i won`t be at ewood again till the filth that preside over the club have gone,i`ll take in some away games and generally look in from the outside,iv`e seen enough of eustace to realise he is`nt up to the job,i think the players sense it as well, though there is no excuse for not putting the effort in like yesterday

Agreed - and I think Ayari has been unlucky not to start more games.
Seems to have a mix of graft and technical ability; pretty much what we expect from JRC.

Feels like JE wants to be the players' friend, rather than their boss.
And anyone who has managed people at any level knows that doing that is a surefire way to fail.

maybe he`s scared of asserting his authority and wants to avoid confrontation???if you are a boss then confrontation is inevitable sooner or later with somebody, the more you put it off the more your staff will try to undermine you

I like Ayari looks like he has a bit about him. As for Markanday he seems to have been made the scapegoat by the manager for Bristol City as the other 10 starters in that game have started the two since it. And that is a big problem with the manager he doesn't seem to want to make any big decisions and drop some of the more senior players. Instead keeps faith in the likes of Hyam, Brittain, Gallagher, Dolan and far too often they fail to deliver.

it appears he won`t dare upset the senior players and make a decision, ffs he is`nt going to discard them next season is he,we`ll be stuck with the same group😥

The only player that would be in my team is Szmodics.

The rest of those soft cunts can all fuck off.

Just get a bunch of young lads from the stands to fill out the rest of the team. At least they might play with some passion.

bit unfair on scott wharton, carter and pickering, they always give 100%,the rest of them can **** off go to footballing hell  for all i care

    what big error?

he and Wharton keep Adam Armstrong quiet all game apart one early chance.

he gave the ball straight back to a  southampton midfielder when he had loads of time on the ball fortunately for us he  chose the wrong pass,we were very lucky to survive that one

Agree with this, I cant think of a single big call hes made with the players. Always picks the most obvious XI. Hasnt punished players for poor performances. Hasnt rested anyone. I dont think hes dropped anyone except when injured/ suspended? Which given the results being relegation form is a bit surprising.

thats why the players are slacking, there is no accountability for poor peformances, the players see eustace as a pushover, thats obvious

One of the most iconic moments in the 153 years of FA Cup football disallowed by a machine. It really does sum up modern football. VAR has to go it is killing the game and sucking all of the joy and emotion out of it.

should only be used for goal line incidents or incidents the ref has missed,as it stands it`s killing the game
