  1. Season Ticket Estimate

    Latest: 8,535 (+12)

    Notes:

    • The estimate is based upon the total number of saleable seats to home supporters (18,210), minus the amount of unavailable (sold) seats.
    • (+xx) represents the difference in season ticket sales from the previous estimate (usually 24 hours).
    • 159 seats in block W01 are marked as unavailable (sold), but are not saleable due to being cordoned-off. These are therefore excluded from the season ticket estimate.
    • 376 seats for supporters requiring ground-level font-row access are marked as unavailable (sold), but appear to be block-reserved rather than fully sold. These are therefore excluded from the season ticket estimate.
    • A seat is marked as unavailable for up to 28 minutes when added to the basket. It is not possible to exclude these from the estimate.

Ta, will give it a try.

I put them on in shower sometimes and have to do a pathetic naked twist dance trying to tap the ad skip button without covering the floor in water.

    Will it stop that?

    Tmi?ย

You can put videos on repeat, and in the background (audio will continue to play when phone is locked etc.).

Also, it's not on the Play Store. You'll need to get it from F-Droid. I'm not sure if it's available for iOS.

I just don't feel that the ads need to be quite as intrusive as they are. Then again, I don't know the full cost of running the site at the moment and my estimates might be miles off.

I believe that is the point, Eddie. It's a non-profit organisation, and clearly the costs outweigh the income from adverts that were being generated previously (and perhaps even now). I don't think it's being don't to pigeon-hole you into paying for Premium. Someone like YouTube does that for greedy reasons, but BRFCS has literally no reason to be greedy. It's a necessity to get income from the adverts, otherwise I'm sure they wouldn't do it in this way. It couldn't have carried on as-is, and that's based on what I know from previous times.

Anyway, let's lower the tone a bit. You've contributed in the past, and the current admin team are obviously contributing now. There's no reason to be at each other's throats. Maybe draw a line under it because, let's face it, like taxes and death, BRFCS isn't going to go away from your life. ๐Ÿ˜„

  8. Kaminski had some ups and downs this season (as did Pears). I felt that way before his supposed injury that he was playing through. I think he had better seasons in the previous two campaigns, but he still shows his quality.

I'm of a simple opinion. Kaminski is good, and Pears has the potential to get to that level. Let's just remember that he is still very young for a 'keeper, and while there is an argument to be had that he may not be reliable enough for a promotion push, I think he will develop into a good 'un.

The conundrum here is that neither of them would be happy sat on the bench, and I'm not convinced Pears would now be happy with a loan move to the lower leagues. He's already shown (in my opinion) that he can play at Championship level.

I'm happy with both of them to be honest. It would be nice if we didn't have to deal with this part of the squad, but I suspect something will have to give (likely Kaminski).

thankyou for the work with the figures every day.

It's not a problem. I appreciate the appreciation. ๐Ÿซ  It takes 5 minutes to grab the seat map data and update the numbers, so it's not a big deal.

It is even quicker since I added something called version control to my files. When I take the seat map data, I can now see at a glance if any block in the seat map has changed since the day before, rather than manually going through each block and entering the new numbers in the spreadsheet to see the difference. The screenshots of the seat maps I provided yesterday are also part of the version control. I can now look back at a seat map snapshot view from any point in history (starting a couple of days ago) that we can compare to any other point. Woohoo!

Iโ€™d say the Jack Walker is as full, if not fuller than what we finished last season with, itโ€™s the Blackburn End that looks quieter currently.ย

Pretty much, and it's interesting that you raise this now because today's count surpasses the last count I was able to take last summer (13th July) before match-day tickets for the opening game skewed the numbers.

Here are the counts per stand (today's count vs. last season's "final" count):

    • Riverside Stand: 1,490 vs. 1,594 (-104)
    • Blackburn End: 3,407 vs. 3,598 (-191)
    • Jack Walker Stand: 3,522 vs. 3,213 (+309)

    All outweighed by being shit.

It's highly annoying that they beat us comfortably 3-0 at their place early on in the season. Paul "bus driver" Ince...ย ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ It was the first sign under Tomasson that we were capable of imploding after going a goal down. If we stamp that nonsense out this season, we give ourselves a chance.

  16. The big jump is something to do with block W11C. There are 101 more "sold" seats than yesterday. I've checked it three times, and it's accurate. I'm not sure what that is. It's definitely not some Dingle putting loads of seats in the basket at the time I'm doing the count because they've been the same for twelve hours.

Still, the other 47 new season ticket holders looks fairly accurate if my intermediate count just now is anything to go by. I reckon supporters are starting to exit the disillusionment of a transfer window now that Gregg has done what he said he was going to do.

ย I wanted to mentioned this earlier, but I've been busy fixing and tinkering to make sure you can all fill your big fat fizzogs this weekend and order your takeaways online. ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ˜‹ Chip teacake just a pound.

A few lads I know from Rovers away games are at pretty much every England away match, Iโ€™ve never known them at a home England game.

Probably more expensive to go to. ๐Ÿ˜„ Getting to London. Staying overnight. General prices of stuff. I'm out of touch with what is going on in Old Blighty, but I bet nothing has changed in the sense that it costs a fortune just to get your basics in London.
