PLAYER WATCH v Millwall (H)
RoversTilliDie replied to tonyoz's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Rovers were the better team, they had Millwall on the backfoot most of the game but couldn't find the net due to some decent millwall defending. They missed one ore two chances that should have found the net. Let's hope the rovers supporters don't get disheartened, we have ten games left and an easier run in than most teams going for the top six spots. We just need our strikers back from injury. -

Time and time again we get around the oppositions box then we haven't a clue what to do with the ball.By the time Diaz and dack are fit again it will be to late we will have slipped out the play off spots, after having a 10pt cushion in the play off spots a month or two ago.we need to drill it into one ore two players on the training ground, how to score a goal. -

Khadra and Dolan on the bench you don't support millwall do you. -

Might work out if BBD is on international duty. His goals have dried up for rovers the last 3 or 4 games. If he scores for Chile he usually scores for rovers. -

With Bradey Dack back soon and BBD hopefully, I think this team is good enough for at least a play off spot. I can't remember when I have cheered so much at ewood this season, usually moans and groans. -

Don't agree that the 2nd automatic spot is beyond us yet. We have a much easier run in than Bournemouth from now until the end of the season, Never say die get's you places. -

I think there's more to come from Zeefuik, we haven't seen the best of him yet. I can't understand why Giles was on the bench against Q.P.R, he get's some fantastic crosses into the box. Khadra, Giles, and Dolan, enough to give most defences something to think about when are strikeforce is back at full strength. -

A few rovers supporters reckon were going to beat Fulham. In reality Fulham are the best team in the Championship and have the best striker in Modavich (pardon the spelling) with 33 goals going into March.A win would be a big boost, but I think snatching a point is more realistic. -

Not every team play the same formation and style of play. -

Fulham are class on their day, if rovers can get something out the game rovers will be dreaming of the play offs at least with 3 home games following it. The Lancashire Telegraph reckon Bradley Dack might be back for the Bristol city home game. Tony Mowbray doesn't want to risk him to soon. Another cruel blow for rovers, Nyambe could be out for 8 weeks, but they have got a decent replacement in Zeefuik.I hope Tony Mowbray plays Khadra and Dolan for 90 minutes against Fulham, they gave the Q.P.R defence something to think about at times. -

I have been saying play Dolan and Khadra together for months, they both have plenty of pace and are capable of scoring goals. Don't forget they are both in there early 20s and are still learning . It was an excellent rovers performance, plenty of team spirit and a never say die attitude. Whatever happens at the end of the season, let's not criticise this young rovers team, but give them praise for there performances this season. -

Good job Blackburn Rovers don't think that way, there fight till the end spirit earned them the deserved 3 pts against Q.P.R. The rest of the top 8 have still to play each other, while rovers have 3 home games and have played most of the top 8 clubs. Keep playing the way you are Rovers and the supporters will soon get behind you again. By the way I didn't know it was a 12.30 pm kick off at Ewood, I set off at 1.15 pm to watch the match. It's a good job I met my sister on the way who told me it was a 12.30pm kick off. I missed the first half but watched the 2nd half at her house. -
You must have been watching another game. I thought rovers were the better team and played the better football. They could have scored 3 or 4, if it wasn't for the dirty sheffield ba----ds who took rovers out the game with some horrific tackles. If we play like last night for the rest of the season we will soon be back on the winning trail. Well done rovers much improved.I won't mention there keeper moving before the penalty was taken.
