We scored 10 at West Ham last season.

Is it just me or do we miss more penalties than we score?

According to my No 2 son the full game is on YouTube.
In a strange twist of fate Jon Dahl Tomasson was the referee that day

I really like him. Personally and think he will do a great job here if he is given reasonable funds and sticks around.

Why would you buy a football club if you have no interest in investing in it? Sell the club if you find it a burden!

Potential relegation battle

JDT is off reading between the lines. Venky gobshites.

Final Countdown. Reminds me of when the team was decent and reminds me of the old stadium.

Looking a wee bit dodgy for JDT. I fear he will quit.
I hope he stays.

Can't really grumble that JDT would leave to go to Feyenoord, Dutch champions and champions league football.
Here's your chance to all laugh at me... There's only one person I'd want... Steven Gerard.
I'd rather Slippy G over Frank Lampard Jr.

If JDT leaves next season will be a disaster. While at times his management annoyed me (particularly when losing) he in my eyes is the man for the job .

It was funny when he had the ball on the wing yesterday and tried to kick it with the outside of his right foot and just kicked it straight out of play for a throw like a pub team player.

Still don;t know what to make of him. One one hand I think to myself he has exceeded expectations with the given squad. I think at the start of the season I said on here we would finish 13th. He's a very likeable guy who seems intelligent.
Then I think maybe we have a better squad that we thought. We were permanently in the top 6 all season almost and let it slip on the run in which was a disastrous run. When we went 1-0 down in a game the heads dropped all season and it was game over. That's a mentality thing and I wonder is JDT too nice a guy and are the team a reflection of him. Its his job to put a bit of steel in this side instead of wilting like flowers when we are losing.
I would definitely give him the benefit of the doubt though and let him put his stamp on the squad for another while. We need strikers of reputation and a couple of tough experienced pros in the side. Its too young. Whether he gets those players is another question.

Why do you feel the need to take all the credit away from our performance?
We mullered them. It was the same calibre of performance we've been putting in for months - Ben Brereton-Diaz decided to show up and we won - fancy that, a goalscorer making the difference.
We missed the playoffs. We blew it big time. The performance was woeful first half and we only played on Millwalls nerves and came back because of that. Yes credit to the lads for winning but it meant nothing in the end.
a very disappointing season considering our position throughout.

I like him but I agree he is not great at rectifying things when things are going tits up. TBH I also pu thtis down to having a team full of kids. We need an experienced pro in the mold of a Gordon Cowans in the middle to steady the ship. Also a striker who can actually score goals. Do they even exist anymore? Seems like football is obsessed with stats thanactually the bare basics of the game.
