A very minor plus is every one of these results puts the notion that anyone is going to take JDT off us further away. These frequent losses and high number of goals conceded is going to drive suitors (and I dont think there are many to be honest) away.
We're 8th in the form table over the last 10 games. We've conceded 2 more than Ipswich in that time.
We've also got 6 or 7 first teamers missing, and a squad that cost less than many in the league.
Potential suitors will apply context to the job he has done. That's the intelligent thing to do.

s to the notion that JDT has run his course and it’s time to look elsewhere. I see it. Get in a seasoned pro who will buy experience and toughen up the team. So the interview for the job goes:-
He'd still have the same players, the same injury list, the same lack of a striker. the same paltry budget compared to most in the league
And who did you have in mind? There are lots of seasoned pro's out there who are out of work because they aren't very good at their job. Maybe Mowbray, Steve Bruce?
Or maybe Owen Coyle, Paul Lambert?
Some of you are absolutely fucking delusional if you think it's getting better than this under these conditions.

I'll enjoy a livener in The Royal Blue Dyche later.
Dingle Bells, Dingle Bells, Dingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to see the Bastards lose again.

Hirst is interesting. He was scoring at Portsmouth before we got him and he's scoring regularly for Ipswich at the top of the League. For us he was utterly useless and didn't score a goal.
There has to be some story or other there!
So was he a bad signing or a good signing but one that didn't work for us for some reason?
He was injured for quite a while before he came to us and didn't have much of a pre-season. He was never up to speed with what JDT wanted from him.

And then put us under pressure for the remaining 30 because of our players thinking they are Brasil or something.
If we'd have booted the ball to the opposition corner flag it would have been a better option than playing the most obvious pass in the world to a man who's got two behind him.
Why are we taking risks when 2 or 3 nil up and cruising?
That's how they're told to play. Risk v reward. Considering what he has to work with, injury crisis, lack of spending, and also considering the league position both this season and last, it's working.

Hence our inability to control games.
Not sure what you mean by 'control games'?
It's an injury ravaged squad who were out on their feet the last 30 mins last night. BCFC didn't lay a glove on us for the preceding 60 mins.

What a brilliant goal that first one was. The angle of the pass from AW, the little flick from SS and a brilliant finish from Siggy.
There won't be many goals as good as that in the Championship this week. It's sometimes ok to focus on the good stuff. 👍

That goal we conceded was fucking diabolical.
This fucking around at the back needs to stop now. It's done nothing but cost us goals and cause problems.
Most of the goals we score start by 'fucking around at the back'. Risk v reward.

The efl highlights capture how stupid it was because 1) he had better options on the right or to go long 2) morton was being marked by two players and was not ready and 3) he only went and gave Morton a hand gesture to come forward so those marking him knew what he was going to do. Ffs

If our home form was better we would have got plenty more on last night and you’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise. The performances and results have been dire.
I think JDT is ok, Mowbray got pelters for similar results. I’ve seen words like ‘sensational’ and ‘miracles’ on here to describe JDT.
League wise I think we are about where we should be based on our squad. I am just not enjoying going to Ewood at the moment but hopefully it picks up once we get some of the walking wounded back.
Mogga fanboy alert!
Imagine the winless runs we'd be enduring under Mogga if he had this injury crisis to contend and a team without the likes of BBD, a fit Dack and AA.
Doesn't bear thinking about it.
JDT is doing a splendid job with far less resource than Mowbray ever had.

Don't get the love for BCFC. Thought they were utter shite. They were a far better team last season.
That left winger they brought on was a good un though, he was part of the reason the game changed in the last 30 mins.

An excellent 3 points. We were in complete control till we gifted them a goal. Moran was fucking awful - young players be like that!
Rovers were out on their feet for the last 20 mins. Half the team fell to the floor at the final whistle.
Both Wharton's were good, as were Tronstad, Pickering and Brittain....but Wahlstedt was MOTM for me. An excellent performance from a young keeper.

Do all the hard work and then fanny around with it and give a cheap goal away. Morons!

Watched highlights of a BCFC game recently and they looked very mobile and quick on the break. It will be another tough game.

Tomasson's take on today.

Think Jim was being a bit of a drama queen.

A late winner by Cardiff and a last minute goal by Watford means we're now down to 11th.
2 points from the play offs after 20 games with a full team missing through injury. Superb effort.

We are doing brilliant, today we went toe to toe with a very good team, their quality shone through..
Personally really enjoying the effort and skill / way the team is playing, feel very proud of the boys... will be gutted once JDT moves on.
Couldn't agree more.

The highlight of this thread has been Leeds' main lad mincing round Blackburn in a pair of stonewashed M&S jeans.

If we had James and Summervile as our wingers we'd be in the top 6 comfortably. Instead we've got an average full back and an inexperienced No10 as wingers...and no established striker.
Still, only a few points from the play-offs, a full team to return from injury and we've still got an excellent manager. it's just a shame it's amateur hour from the Board and owners.

This has got a spanking written all over it, our home form has been poor all season and Leeds have some serious firepower.
1-4 spanking to spoil my weekend.
Something to look forward to at least, and may help compensate somewhat for the heavy defeat.

What have they actually done?
Having a punch up with police dogs outside the DE last time I saw them here.

They had a poor start, including the trouncing at Sunderland. Over the last 10 games they're the best team in the league, and now unbeaten in 13 or 14. They are a very good side at this level, with some very good players.
I'd expect them to be challenging the top 2 by the end of the season, as they should be with the players they've got.
