Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is absolutely fantastic. Having said that I think I'm already half way through and I only got it yesterday.

I traded in some games for a pre-owned copy of Metro 2033 earlier in the week. I lasted 20 minutes on it. The atmosphere and premise are interesting but the first person viewpoint was jerky, cheap and nasty, the gunplay was about as interesting as watching paint dry. There was absolutely no excitement in rattling off a load of rounds at mutants.
I returned it the next day and claimed it was present for someone who turned out to own it already. I've now got money on a Game trade-in card in anticipation of the new Medal of Honor next week.

Saw Back to the Future at the cinema last night.
I'm probably being massively biased because its my favourite film, but I loved it!
I would certainly recommend anyone who loves the film or hasn't seen it to go watch it at the cinemas.
One thing I did notice was that the atmosphere in the cinema was great, because everybody knew what was coming and knows the characters, there was laughing and cheering throughout! Great stuff.
Also for someone who has watched the film hundreds of times, I still noticed some new things, as the quality of the digital/blu ray is excellent.
Its on limited release so make sure you go see it!

Not exactly a new game, but I just finished Alan Wake. It's a bit short for my liking but superb nonetheless.
-
It's awesome.

I think the Tron remake will be rather good
Surely it's a sequel?
-
Thought it was superb.

I picked up The Force Unleashed for 8 quid on eBay. It's nowhere near as ropey as some of the reviews made out. Really not bad at all.
-
I saw Salt last night. It's excellent, save for the ludicrous sequence in which Angelina poses as a bloke.
-
warning humour by pass a bit of light hearted schoolboy humour and good old fashioned slapstick .blimey.have any of you actually watched it or is it hearsay?
matt cancer isnt something to joke about either!!!!!!
Indeed. Apologies, that was tasteless.
-
Glad someone has enjoyed it. Widely acknowledged as being about as funny as cancer.

I saw The Expendables earlier. I thought it was terrible and dreadfully old-fashioned (notwithstanding the fact that it is supposed to be an 80s throwback). Not recommended.
-
I just saw The A-Team. It's absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend it highly enough. How Empire scored it lower than that atrocious Twilight nonsense is beyond me.

That's supposed to be cracking though Flopsy.

I saw Inception last night and I'm still recovering from it. It's a hulking behemoth of film. It's exciting, mind-bending, unbelievably smart and incredible to look at. Nolan as a director is absolutely at the top of his game.
-
I'm loving Matisyahu's second studio album Light.
-
Empire's take on Inception.

His exclusion says it all. The World Cup's in his own country, the whole nation is behind the team, he's the main man and still he looks like a walrus. What an utter tosser.

The battle scenes were tame.
I agree with that. 12A strikes again.

I saw Robin Hood last night. Hugely enjoyable stuff and fantastic looking as you would imagine from Ridley Scott.

I like Quantum of Solace a lot. It's not Casino Royale but it is far superior to every Brosnan film save GoldenEye

Saw Iron Man 2 last week. Very, very blah.
-
Chris Nolan hasn't made a bad film yet.
