  4. well looks like we have put the cash to good use, emre signing tomorrow :-)
  5. thats pogo mate! and we DO sing that one at some games,
  6. i dont want that clause as much as you, but its mentioned on a couple of nufc sites, youer welcome to the little quasiemodo boy
  7. you will think this is crap but i have heard from a mate that the rumors going around are that nufc have a buy back clause written into bellas contract, could make sence as he has not had the SUN EXCLUSIVE'S like a certain Froggy we had, like i said you may think its crap, but it woudl make sence
  8. hahhahahaha thurday night footy is @#/? tbh
  9. still bumping your souness threads lads ;-) still if we win em its a place in europe, and we tend to play more than a couple of games, unlike you boys
  10. if ya pop your readers on greggyk you will see it says i 'live' here now, head hunted for a job, born and bread geordie only been here 1 year
  11. this gets dragged up again and again and to be honest it gets boring, so i will sum it up for you, in the 1980's we did indeed have 16k you are quite correct, since then there has been a bit of a explosion in football, (i hope u have noticed ) clubs are being ran as businesses (brfc will not notice this, this is not a dig, but rovers still seem to be a 'small club' and in my eyes a family club) the club then began to siht on the fans, moving them from there seats to house the good awld 'prawn butty mob' its true my friends that football is no longer a working class game, we still have that hardcore of 16 - 20k but we get spread out at the ground and with 32k+ 'new fans' in attendance it makes it hard for the noise to be heard, question 2: spendinh millions!! and winning nowt, so ###### newcastle is football, i know you will be thinking 'yeah right' but i can honestly say unless you are a geordie then you truly do not understand, its nice to spend the money, yeah! course it is, being linked to top notch players is also great, we are never going to be a man u or a arsenal, but we live in hope, the hope that is we might see a cup, any cup will do, at st james park, christ even Crystal palace have won more in the last 25 years than we have, its easy to buy the league, like chelsea have and dare i say rovers *tin hat on* but winning the first cup for years is the biggy its winning the next thats the hardest, if the day comes in my lifetime then i can say from the heart, people will see the biggest party the uk has ever seen!! again you will be thinking 'yeah right' and again i say you have to be a geordie to understand, Q3 he will run out of ideas after 18 mths, is that from now or when appointed lol i must admit he was not in my top 5 managers but we have him and to be honest we are stuck with him for the forseeable future, he has cleared out the squad, trimmed the wage bill and more importantly shifted the @#/?, (bellas) under Sir bobby ( who i adore as a man) the changing room ruled and in particular a certian welsh man, GS have removed the core of the trouble and i may add the change in the rest of the bling bling crew have, by all accounts, learnt there lesson, when he goes and i hope he is given a full season (but i doubt it) he has to have a chance with his men before the public flogging on the Gallowgate, so far we have Parker and Emre may put pen to paper tomorrow, also we have irons in the fire and i think a further 3-4 players will be on board by the start of the season, as for fat fred, the man is a grade A ######! hated by the fans loved by the press, the fans will buy the shirts and other stuff, it will always happen, its the pride in pulling on the shirt, if you step of the train at the boulivard it may take 10 mins to see a rovers shirt, step off at newcastle central and it will be 10 secs, its in the blood (i refer you to the above bit about only a geordie understands, ) hope that clears a bit up, i have not joined for slagging matches, i live in blackburn now, and really hope they do well, but if i was a rovers fan i wiuld be VERY worried about a little welshman good luck for the season and thanks for 6 points and finish as high as you can, as long as its behind us cheers fellas oh ps!! i remember the ###### you lot gave bellend when he had the set to with lucas neil (two faced buggers!!!! footie eh! )
  12. you mean players that souness has SOLD anyway you are welcome to the little welsh gobsihte, i hope hughes can control him, but i would not hold my breath
  13. i was 20 mate!! and rumors dont have a shelf life do they??
  14. make the most of your sucess it wont last, even though shearer has said he is staying, i heard a rumor about a 15mil transfer
  15. back where we belong now above rovers!!
  16. From the Sporting Life, Saturday: "....Souness' long-time friend and colleague Phil Boersma has left the club's coaching staff by mutual consent just seven months after arriving at St James' Park. Assistant Alan Murray said: "Phil has left the club, but I am not here to talk about Phil, and we will leave it at that." 1 down 3 to go!!
  17. we dont say we are the best fans, the media hype it all up!! yeah we take thousands away to matches get ###### and have a laugh, but lets be honest i dont think you fans would begrudge us getting a trophy would ya??
  18. speeeeeeedie I have posted on Boards for the other 3 to see what sort of reaction Have registered for the Red Issue but not had confirmation for Access yet The IMUSA are cetainly taking issue with it but for teams like MU and Newcastle for those that don't go there will be others who take their place - unlike us, as with what we have seen at home if somebody doesn't go its very unlikely we will have the numbers to fill the places. MU have the numbers regardless and Newcastle being geordies will just go anyway Arsenals fans would appear to be more peeved now with all the mention of the 12 noon kick off imo the manure and arse fans will be up for the boycott, but then they are used to cardiff rovers will sell out and like you said we will turn up, caught some of talksport (or talksh*t ) and a manc was on saying how they will boycott and the geordies will boycott! next call was a fellow geordie who asked if utd boycotted could we have the extra tickets! i would sell my grannie for a semi ticket, the "big" clubs can do what the hell they want but we'll be there oh yeah if we get to the final my other grannie will be on Ebay toon v rovers final PPPPPLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEE
  19. all teams in uefa cup play there next games on sundays FACT!
  20. paddyk - What's your opinion of the Semi's being at Cardiff? rovers will be sat, because we have european match on thurs i dislike the semi final at cardiff idea it takes the shine off thefinal, i remember we played chelsea in a semi at wembly a few years back, and its not the same, the whole cup final thing is special, i have been to 2 finals and they are fantastic, but the FA want to make there money so why not take the ###### out of us fans, i would have thought safety would have been a issue!! 4 sets of fans in cardiff over 1 weekend, i know whoever plays on saturday will have fans planning a overnight stay, in the same way sunday teams might have fans staying on sat also ahh well never mind! i never though i would say this but......come on u rovers
  21. the very best of luck for your semi, i really hope you stuff the gooners and would love a nufc v rovers final!! from a selfish point of view a shearer winner with his last kick in football to break Wor Jackies record would be the stuff dreams are made of, well as i said best of luck and STUFF THEM! and lets make it great weekend oh any chance of a lift to the final!
