  1. Kings of Leon are the band I like the most right now, and are playing at the Apollo in April. Sadly, I could not get a ticket as it sold out VERY quickly, if anyone knows of a spare or two I would appreciate a quick tip off.

I'm a big fan of kings of leon, saw them at big day out last year. Were very good live.

Big fan of the new Bloc party album, not as catchy songs as silent alarms but very good songs

  2. Personally I haven't made my mind up about Henchoz. I think he reads play very well and he seldom gives the ball away. He is also a force defending and attacking set pieces. Though there aren't many players who can't run past him, and against players with a fair amount of skill and pace he often throws himself in to reckless tackles. On his day he's a fantastic player. However I'd also like to see Zurab progress. If Zurab can learn from Nelsen and Henchoz we'll have a top class defender - with pace.

Samba might also be a fantastic coup, he has pace, strength and great presence.

He hasn't done that badly this season, more then adequate second back-up especially to help the younger players coming through the reserves. May be todd's final nail though at seasons end.

  3. Most Australians of his generation grew up watching Craig Johnstone score in the FA Cup back in the mid 80's.

Perhaps Lucas is smart enough to realise that he'll never make at a 'top' club as a player, so he's better off earning the cash to run his own club to make his other football dreams come true.

If he ends up bankrolling an Australian team that wins the Asian Champions League in 10 years time, does that mean he is ambitious enough and you'll all forgive him?

He almost bought the sydney team before the start of this season, and when that failed he almost bought a licence for a another a-league team. I think it was with cahill, or another socceroo.

    All the best lucas

  4. That's only a rumour though, wasn't the fee mentioned £2.5 million? Sparky has shown to be more prudent with cash than to throw that amount at a player who hasn't performed for a long time now due to injuries. If you take away the sentimental part of Dunn returning, he's nothing more than a midfield version of Jeffers.

Yeah, but he's our jeffers :P

Doubt we would be back for him in jan, we will more be looking for someone to jump straight into the 1st XI in anything
