Carter will be worth more than £10m hope he's tied up on a long contract along with Leonard. On Wharton I think we have the best midfelder in the Championship. He looked more athletic than last season!
A bit early in the season to get overly excited but do we see signs of a new spine emerging...?

Brilliant performance by the team tonight, matched by our fantastic support.

Thought I'd pop this in here in case anyone hasn't seen it. Possibly the best fan site ever, but sadly not kept up to date for a while now.
The cartoon match reports are a work of genius

There was also the game at Ewood under K*** vs the shit where both teams stopped playing with about 20 mins to go (or more perhaps?), played out a draw which suited both clubs. Horrible.

The one at home where “Lucash” got abused all game, Tevez dived for a penalty and Zamora actually blocked the ball going in but Assistant gave it for their winner? Was in 2007?
One of the worst refereeing performances I’ve seen at Ewood. Up there for most aggrieved I’ve felt after a game.
Could be wrong but it seemed to me that Tevez was offside, he punched the ball and it didn’t cross the line, but the goal stood, turns out he was also ineligible to play, nothing dodgy about that then.

One player who often gets overlooked when people talk about the Premiership winning team is Ian Pearce, now head of recruitment at West Brom.
More recently there was a time when we only had two Diouffs.
